Floatin' Powa News Service: HaShem's Holy Order of Peculiar Oddities

You see, the problem with Jerusalem is all those pesky Jews.
And they wonder why BiBi canceled the meeting.
George Mitchell, top US Middle East envoy along with Clinton - explained that the controversy centered on "the number of Jewish births."
Gee... where have I heard that shit before?
Maybe they'll go all Herodly Pharonic on us and slay all our firstborn with a little Mengele thrown in around the crusty edges just for fun.

An Israeli resident of Kfar Kara is suspected of having sold weapons to the heads of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, a violent offshoot of the Palestinian Fatah movement.

The gag order on the investigation was lifted Saturday, revealing that 20 Israeli citizens, residents of the Arab towns of Wadi Ara and Jiser a Zarka, have been arrested recently on suspicion that they were involved in arms trading with Hamza Masri, 24, of Kfar Kara. Masri himself is suspected of selling weapons to Shaher Hanina, the head of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade's infrastructure in Qalqiliya.
Jordan says Israeli minister's tour of Jerusalem mosque "provocative"
Understand what he is saying here, also please realize that Jordan, specifically the Hashemite Royal Family, is the legal OWNER of the Temple Mount, and what they have decreed here is that it is decidedly PROVOCATIVE to breathe whilst Jewish on the Temple Mount, in the JEWISH state of Israel! It is an unacceptable provocation, even!

Provocative –adjective
1. tending or serving to provoke; inciting, stimulating, irritating, or vexing.
Minister of State for Information Affairs and Communication Nabil Sharif urged an immediate cessation of such moves, which he said endangered the chances of peace.

"This is an unacceptable provocation that hurts sentiments of millions of Arabs and Muslims, and a flagrant encroachment on the sanctity of one of Islam's most sacred places," he said.
Sharif, he don't like it.
"he said... endangered the chances of peace"

THAT my friends, is a THREAT.
How bout these apples, Sharif:
Go. Fuck. Yourself.
Listen, Amalek, you have hurt MY sentiments and encroached on the sanctity of MY sacred place.. so how about we throw down right here right now and get this bullshit over with?

US State Dept. on Jerusalem:
The State Department said its policy on Jerusalem has not changed and it remains a "final status" issue. On Monday, State Department spokesman Ian Kelly had said that the administration's demand for a stoppage of settlement construction included Jewish neighborhoods in eastern Jerusalem. But on Tuesday at the daily briefing, Kelly stated that "a far as Jerusalem is concerned, our policy in Jerusalem has not changed." "Jerusalem is a final-status issue," he said. "Israel and the Palestinians have agreed to resolve this status during negotiations."

(GEN) OIC SG IHSANOGLU TALKS TO CLINTON ON PHONE
Clinton phoned Ihsanoglu and told him that she wished to create an other opportunity to meet with him in the shortest time possible. Hillary Clinton and Ihsanoglu were scheduled to meet in Washington, D.C. on Monday. However, the meeting was postponed for one day as Clinton broke her elbow. After feeling not well, Clinton cancelled her meeting with Ihsanoglu on Tuesday and, as Ihsanoglu had to leave for Brussels, he could not re-schedule an appointment with Clinton. In the phone conversation, Clinton thanked Ihsanoglu for the positive support he extended to U.S. President Barack Obama's speech at Cairo University recently. Ihsanoglu, in his part, told Clinton on the phone that "President Obama's good will messages in Cairo must be turned into policies that can be implemented".

Mir Hossein Mousavi called on you to “consider the Basiji your brothers”. This means you should consider your brothers those who used knives and machetes on the bodies of your dearest sons and daughters. Mousavi told you “not to consider the army to be against you”. This means considering to be your friends those who under the orders of Khamenei are trying to smash your uprising and are shooting our youth in many corners of the country.

Russia: Speech at Meeting of the Alliance for Civilizations
It gives him great pleasure, even...
DMITRY MEDVEDEV:
Mr Secretary-General,
Permanent representatives and ambassadors,
Ladies and gentlemen,

It gives me great pleasure to speak here from the tribune of the League of Arab States. This is my first visit to this influential organisation's headquarters. As an organisation uniting the countries of the Middle East and North Africa, with their shared history, the League of Arab States plays an important part today in global and regional politics, the economy and finance. There can be no progress on many of the issues facing the world today, such as security, sustainable development, promotion of dialogue between civilisations, and settling religious conflicts, without taking into consideration the organisation's position and the views of its member states. And the same applies, of course, to our efforts to successfully overcome the problems brought on by the global financial and economic crisis.

Vladimir Putin wants to see Mikheil Saakashvili hanged 'by the balls'
Russia has one desire in relation to Mikheil Saakashvili — to see him removed as President of Georgia and preferably hanged “by the balls”, in Vladimir Putin’s colourful expression.

President Medvedev has set out the Kremlin’s policy just as graphically, calling Mr Saakashvili a “political corpse” who “no longer exists in our eyes”. He told Western analysts that his Georgian counterpart was “mentally unstable”.

The rhetoric has been unrelentingly harsh since last August’s war over South Ossetia.

EU to meet Russia, Ukraine officials to avert gas crisis

Russia appoints new ambassador to Ukraine, and soon Ukraine will have a new president of Vlad's choosing
.....if he speaks to common people, he glorifies them, if he speaks to nationalists, he emphasizes anti-Semitism, if he speaks to Jews, he appears in front of them as a genuine son of the Zionist nation. He is another Ukrainian absurdity attempting to replace Yushchenko, who in his turn has become not even a lame duck, but a toilet duck,” the scientist said.
Please, pay close attention to this statement because this is the same hooplebabble coming from all your Euro-Fascist parties and is the primary reason so many have been duped, fooled and just plain jumped into cahoots with these rehashed Nazi retreads:

"if he speaks to nationalists, he emphasizes anti-Semitism, if he speaks to Jews, he appears in front of them as a genuine son of the Zionist nation."

Exactly. All your so called NATIONALIST types today are knocking each other over claiming to be the true champions of Israel, and for two reasons:

One, it ostensibly separates them in the eyes of the public from the views of the Left and Islam.
Two, it shores up their own nationalistic ambitions - IOW, if the Jews can have a sovereign state so can we, they use ISRAEL as a justification for their own agendas.

These MFers hate us as much as they hate the Muslims. Probably more. They intend to use the jihad to get rid of the Jews while simultaneously wearing Islam as wings. Jihad is their golden opportunity to seize power, and they know it. Already this is happening all over the world. It is very simple, really, and if you can not see it, it is simply because you do not want to. The enemy of your enemy is your friend, the expedience of it apeals to your lazy asses. So eventually we will all have to pay for your idiotic, staggering and willful lapse in discerment. Forgive me if I neglect to thank you.

U.S., China Plan More Talks on Naval Run-Ins

China, US eye restoring comprehensive military ties
China and the United States are looking at restoring comprehensive military relations after an 18-month hiatus in their defense talks.

Defense officials from China and the United States concluded Wednesday the 10th annual round of defense consultations, the first and highest-level defense dialogue since the Obama administration took office.

"The development of Sino-U.S. military ties has not been very smooth and still faces some obstacles," said Chinese Defense Minister Liang Guanglie in a meeting with U.S. Under-Secretary of Defense for Policy Michele Flournoy Wednesday afternoon.

The obstacles included U.S. weapons sales to Taiwan.

"We hope the United States would take substantial measures to remove the barriers that hinder our military relations," said Ma Xiaotian, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.

She was "concerned that customers would believe [the letter about payment plans] was just another request for payment," Czarski said, though the plans were designed to benefit them and to make payments more reasonable for a period of time.
GPS Ruling Challenges NY Law Enforcement

This opinion was not based on any Fourth Amendment concerns, but because of a right, newly found by the court in New York's Constitution at Article I, §12. This section of the state Constitution, in addition to tracking the language of the Fourth Amendment, adds:

The right of the people to be secure against unreasonable interception of telephone and telegraph communications shall not be violated, and ex parte orders or warrants shall issue only upon oath or affirmation that there is reasonable ground to believe that evidence of crime may thus be obtained, and identifying the particular means of communication, and particularly describing the person or persons whose communications are to be intercepted and the purpose thereof.

The court went on to review the leading U.S. Supreme Court case, United States v. Knotts, 460 U.S. 276 (1983), in which a "mere beeper" was used to do exactly the same thing as the GPS device in the case before them. The court distinguished the "beeper" from a GPS device with the following line: "[W]e must now, more than a quarter of a century later, recognize [the beeper] to have been a very primitive tracking device."

Although the opinion provides no technological description of either the beeper or the GPS device -- but merely characterizes the former as more primitive -- it appears that the court believes it is the efficacy of the newer device that removes it from the ambit of "primitive." As the court wrote: "[T]he potential for a similar capture of information or 'seeing' by law enforcement would require, at a minimum, millions of additional police officers and cameras on every street lamp."

Look Up, Look Down: Raytheon Releases RAID
Look! Up in the Sky! It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's the Raytheon Spy Blimp!
As the American republic's long death-spiral continues apace, newer and ever more insidious technologies usher us towards an age of high-tech barbarism.
"At first glance" Newsweek reveals, "there was nothing special about the blimp floating high above the cars and crowd at this year's Indy 500 on Memorial Day weekend."

"Nothing special" that is, until you took a closer look. What you then discovered was another quintessentially American innovation, all the more chilling for its bland ubiquity. A silent, hovering sentinel linking commerce and repression; a perfect trope for our ersatz democracy. "Like most airships" Newsweek continued, "it acted as an advertising vehicle."

But the real promo should have been for the blimp's creator, Raytheon, the security company best known for its weapons systems. Hidden inside the 55-foot-long white balloon was a powerful surveillance camera adapted from the technology Raytheon provides the U.S. military.(For complete article links, please see source at Antifascist Calling... here)

Socialism and the regulation of tobacco
Congress has voted to give the FDA the authority to regulate tobacco. The problem is the Supreme Court in 2000 denied the FDA that privilege. According to Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor in her majority opinion: “Were the FDA to regulate cigarettes and smokeless tobacco, the (federal law) would require the agency to ban them……Congress, however, has foreclosed the removal of tobacco products from the market. The inescapable conclusion is that there is no room for tobacco products within the (federal law’s) regulatory scheme.” Did any lawmaker consider that the FDA itself did not want the job of regulating tobacco, and has stated so publicly?

Top London Jewish school ' unlawfully racist' in landmark ruling

A top London Jewish school was being unlawfully racist when they barred a 12-year-old boy on “religious” grounds ruled three Appeal Court judges today.

The state run Jewish Free School in Kenton, Harrow rejected the boy - named only as M - on the grounds that his mother was not born to the Jewish faith, and they did not recognise her conversion before he was born, because it was not in an Orthodox synagogue.

In a test case challenge the judges unanimously ruled that the heavily oversubscribed Orthodox Jewish school's admission policy was unlawfully in breach of the Race Relations Act.

The family's solicitor John Halfords said the ruling would have far reaching implications for all faith schools
A Gory Televided Attempt to Disprove Intelligent Design
Keep in mind the "evolutionary biologist" title Dawkins uses is bullshit, there is no such thing. Dick has a degree in ZOOLOGY, nothing more.
Collaborating with the Royal Veterinary College, Dugan recruited a team of experts including the evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins (the author of The God Delusion) who, says Dugan, got “terribly excited” by the prospect of dissecting a giraffe. Its anatomy is key in proving evolution over intelligent design (the belief that the complexity of living things demonstrates the existence of a creator). Rather than passing a few inches directly between the larynx and the brain, the giraffe’s recurrent laryngeal nerve (which stimulates the voice box) takes a huge detour up and down the neck. This, says Dawkins, is not the work of Intelligent Design: “A designer can go back to the drawing board and come back with something more sensible. Evolution can’t. Evolution has no foresight.”

The dissection goes on to show how the giraffe’s neck, despite its length, contains only seven vertebrae (the same as humans) and how in order to maintain its high blood pressure the giraffe has evolved a thick heart wall muscle and tight skin around its legs that act like pressure stockings.

Before the workings of the elephant can be dissected, the team has to release the build-up of gases caused by decomposition and fermentation (elephants produce 2,000 litres of methane a day, enough to fill a weather balloon). The resultant hiss of escaping gas is deafening. Having unpacked the elephant’s massive guts, the team examines its trunk (a marvel of engineering that saves the elephant from having to lower its weighty head to pick up food), its ears (flooded with blood vessels to aid cooling) and its feet, which bear up to three tons each and are cushioned with chunky insoles of fat that mimic a pogo-stick in propelling the elephant forward as it runs.

With the series’s deluge of blood and guts, the obvious question is whether viewers will prove too squeamish to endure. “It’s a worry,” says Dugan. “But when you get inside the head of an anatomist and start looking at it as a problem of engineering or evolution, you stop noticing the gore and it becomes so interesting.”
