THE LAST MAN ON EARTH ~ 1964
This film was based on the Richard Matheson novel "I am Legend". It was later remade as "The Omega Man" starring Charlton Heston and then again as "I am Legend" with Will Smith.
This 1964 classic features Vincent Price as scientist Robert Morgan in a post apocalyptic nightmare world ~ a ravenous plague has transformed humanity into a race of bloodthirsty vampires. Only Morgan is immune, and so naturally he becomes the solitary vampire slayer.
