In my lifetime I have more than once had people react to the revelation of my Jewishness like I had some kind of highly communicable fatal disease. You can see the face change, the body shrink back.... etc...
You can HEAR that exact thing happen in this audience's reaction to the revelation of Tom's Jewishness at the beginning of this track.
