Shtetl Mentality, Dogmatic Divisions & Outdated Jewish Trepidation Continue to Keep Jews and Christians Divided

Meantime, in the War against Jihad and the Islamic Caliphate, the best possible thing for the enemy is that Jews and Christians do not unite. Thank you Chief Rabbinate for continuing to foster division, antipathy and fear between GOD's people in the middle of a war for the soul of humanity. Maybe you should give a call to Rabbi Biatch and take him out for lunch. You have more in common than you think.

They are NOT all trying to convert you. And are the Jewish people that weak in their faith that even unfounded fear of conversion is strong enough to outweigh the necessity of unity?
The Muslims want to convert you at the point of a sword, better yet, they want to annihilate you completely. Concentrate on destroying that.

So..... what's the problem?

(IsraelNN.com) The Chief Rabbinate has banned participation in the Bridges for Peace women's conference scheduled for next week in Jerusalem.

Participation in the "Woman to Woman" Conference in Jerusalem next week, sponsored by the Christian "Bridges for Peace" organization, has been banned by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. The event is set to coincide with the celebrations commemorating the 40th anniversary of Jerusalem's re-unification in the Six Day War.

A special Rabbinate committee, headed by Rabbi Simcha Kook of Rechovot, ruled on Thursday that concentration on "Judeo-Christian values" and the study of "the Jewish foundations of Christianity" are forbidden. The rabbis ruled that these efforts are actually part of a long-running campaign to bring Israeli-Jews to believe in Jesus.

Promotional literature for the Woman to Woman conference, to take place in Jerusalem from May 16-19, describes it as "Jewish and Christian women together, studying the Word [italics added] and working together to build bonds of friendship and bring comfort to the people of Israel." Each Conference day will begin with "praise and worship... in preparation for an exciting series of visits and speakers, focusing on the roles, experiences, and opportunities for Women in Israel."

Bridges for Peace is a Jerusalem-based, Bible-believing Christian organization that supports Israel and is engaged, according to its website, in "building relationships between Christians and Jews worldwide through education and practical deeds expressing God's love and mercy. It is our desire to see Christians and Jews working side by side for better understanding and a more secure Israel."

The Conference will be followed by the Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Women’s Summit, entitled, "Empowering Women through Judeo-Christian Values." The two-day event (May 20-21) will, according to the official invitation, "bring together hundreds of Jewish and Christian women from all over the globe to address the difficult issues and tragic circumstances millions of women face daily. Every component of this remarkable experience is designed to encourage and equip women to be all that God has called them to be. Together, we will come to know Him better, and we will go back to our home countries, an army of His women, empowered to change the world."

Another promotional website explains, "The Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Women’s Council Conference will focus on hardships facing women worldwide, to which solutions can be found through Judeo-Christian values. Women representatives from every country in the world will join together in this monumental forum to be trained as ambassadors who will mobilize their respective governments to promote the status of women in their home country. Through this conference in the holy city of Jerusalem, women leaders will promote Judeo-Christian values globally. Christian women leaders and members of the Israeli Knesset Christian Allies Caucus Women’s Council will chair the conference and teach in special post-conference guided tours following the footsteps of the Bible throughout the Holy Land."

UNDECEIVE YOURSELVES!

UPDATE:

I have a Question for the Rabbinate:

Would you forbid your Jews from attending a conference with Jews who believe that The Rebbe is Moshiach, and further forbid them from studying the Jewish roots of that sect?

  2. When Jewish Authorities "FORBID" Jewish people from studying anything something is horribly wrong.

It is not just that he "nixed " the conference which I also disagree with
it is that he has forbidden people the right to examine something from their own perspective.

    That is not Jewish IMO

Like I said in the post, what is the Rabbinate so afraid of? Does he think that all Jews are so weak that they will fall under the Jewsickle spell instamatically and do backflips for Jesus? That we can't come near the goyim without being perverted in some way?
WTF! He should think they will all ask to convert to Judaism after being with them, he should have that kind of confidence in his people. Go, talk to them, see what they have to say, then we'll all discuss it he should say.

It's nonsense and it is based in grievances that need to be transcended at this point in time, not nurtured.

I understand all the legitimate reasons for fearing unity and I know all about the asshole Christians who do want to convert Jews, and all the horrible replacement theology that has infected Christianity, I know much about the ills of established religion.
I have been the brunt of their ire and I have gone to battle with them, I know, believe me I know.

Which is why I am personally no part of organized religions, period.

I also know that America is filled with real bible believing Christians who honestly want to help and are more supportive of Israel that my upper west side of Manhattan Jewish friends EVER were.

We are at war with Islam and no matter what delusion people want to labor under this is indeed a holy war and we are a holy people and we are the ones who must lead the fight.

Keeping divisions up between Christians and Jews is not the way. It benefits the enemy. It strengthens the Jihad.

We also have self loathing horrible irresponsible insane Jews... I'll name only one but the list is long, as we contirbute disproportionately to the postitve side of history we are well represented in the negative as well....

How about just Uncle Chom as the one name... Or Soros.
And I limit myself to the living.

So to say all Christianity is out to get us or convert is like saying all Judaism is bullshit, it's just Uncle Chom and Soros in tefillin doing the nod.

BTW IMO there is nothing more atrocious and dangerous to the world than a Jew gone feral in the wrong direction. We do mondo damage when we walk off His way. The covenant is real, the responsibility is real, and it is our weight to carry.

BTW the genuine Christians I know volunteered for that weight, they weren't born into it. I have great respect for that.

    So what's it gonna be?

Everyone hangs on tight to their isms and stays divided while the Caliphate rises?

    Fuck that, sez me.

    JEWHAD NOW.

chabad.org is apparently anti-meshichist. But yes there are Rabbis who actively discourage people from studying or praying with meshichists.

  4. Thanks ~ I was curious about that.

I'm in and out but I'll be back.

Actually I know for a fact that some prominent Chabad Rabbis are anti-meshichist and discourage people from davening with them.

Some of them are so lovely and I have friends among them but I am not currently davening with them because I find some of the stuff too crazy-making.

I like Chabadniks in general but can't see myself becoming one. If I was to go Chassidic I would probably follow a path with a living Rebbe (although the meshichists say the the Rebbe IS alive - I mean in the plain sense of what normative people call alive).

  6. Well, I'm not going to stop buying Hebrew National franks and knockwurst in protest, but I do think the Rabinate is being counterproductive. Being a musician and having lived and worked in NYC, I have had a lot of Jewish friends and bandmates over the years (How do you think I became a fan of Hebrew National products? LOL!).

Jews and Christians - regardless of how spiritual or secular their basic outlooks are - seem like the most natural allies on earth to me. In fact, that is one of my litmus tests for Christian denominations and congregations: If you are not pro-Israel and a friend to the Jewish people, you just don't get it, IMO.

  7. Kristee ~ I felt punched in the gut for you all.

And I almost didn't run it for the same reason you state.

But I had to, seeing as I straddle both worlds....

Controversial crap like this appears to be my specialty...

Being the wild Jewtian Remnantian I am I have no allegiance to any church or temple, only to GOD.

I don't need to worry about what anyone else thinks impinging on my worship life. So I have the freedom to attack all wrong from all quarters without social consequence to my identity and lifestyle.

I have already lost so called friends over the years for my "heretical" views. I have no fear of that.

This story upset me so much I felt I had to run it.

I also want to say that not all Jewish people feel this way.

And I want to say to those who do - wake up.

    We are one tribe.
    They are grafted in.
Think of them as the volunteer back up army.

They are not all out to convert you.

And if Yeshua the Nazarene DOES decide to walk into your life, well, He will come to you even if you hide yourself in a cave and never speak to anyone. Bet yer ass on it.

    JEWHAD NOW!

  9. Hi Babbazee, sorry for deleting my comments. I have much to say and such need to talk it out right now. It's best I don't do it publicly. This is upsetting among other things. I appreciate your post and comments. I think you know where I am coming from.

A major factoid in all of this is that christians are responsible for the distrust the Jewish people have for us. There is alot of work that needs to be done in "christendom" in order to develop positive trusting relationships with the Jewish community. Evangelicals have come along way but there is still alot of ignorance out there. I cringe when I read some comments left by christians concerning Israel in various forums. Many still just don't get it. BFP's Christian Leaders Forums, literature, books etc. are all helping to enlighten Christians to the truth of Hashem's brit olam with Israel. Benny Elon gets this already. We just need to be able to dialogue with the Chief Rabbinate. I think if they really knew what we were doing they would have a different perspective and perhaps a greater appreciation for our work. Jews for Judaism afforded us this opportunity and we came out friends. I believe that we would get the same result with the CR.

    shalom,
    Kristee
