Ha'aretz Interviews Jimmy Carter
President Carter: There's certainly hope, always. My discussions last night were with Hamas leaders and they expressed hope and confidence that the deadline might be met. I haven't yet met with the leaders of Fatah, which I'll be doing when I'm here. My guess is that they will also express that hope. But there are still some very difficult issues between the two. And I have more confidence now with Obama in the White House that the Egyptians are making sincere efforts to make progress.Wild Pigs are attacking Palestinians, Palestinians Blame Jews
Palestinian Authority media outlets continue to blame Israel for problems caused by wild boars in Samaria, despite Israeli efforts to cull the animals. On Thursday, PA farmers near Ariel complained that “Israeli settlers” had engineered a wild boar attack that destroyed agricultural produce. So, when he arrived at the other side, in the region of the Gadarenes, he ran into two demon possessed men coming from the tombs. These two were so violent and insane that no one had been able to pass that way for many years.
"So? What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted.
"Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?"
They noticed that some distance from them a large herd of pigs were feeding.
So, the demons, through the men, begged Jesus,
"If you must drive us out of these men, please, send us into the herd of pigs."
So Jesus says to them, "Go!"
So go they did, out of the two men, and straight into the pigs. With that, the whole herd rushed madly down the steep bank and tumbled into the lake, dying there in the water.
Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.
Then the whole town went out to meet Jesus.
And when they saw him,
they pleaded with him to leave their region.

Welcome to your Brave New Future, Oymeristan...
Compulsory quotas for the national labour force should be revisited as the policy is creating negative effect on companies' productivity and competitiveness, according to a survey of Arab CEOs. Administration Plans to Scale Back Real ID Law
REBRANDING!
Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano wants to repeal and replace the controversial, $4 billion domestic security initiative known as Real ID, which calls for placing more secure licenses in the hands of 245 million Americans by 2017. The new proposal, called Pass ID, would be cheaper, less rigorous and partly funded by federal grants, according to draft legislation that Napolitano's Senate allies plan to introduce as early as tomorrow. The Confluence of Cyber Crime and Terrorism
The rebranding effort follows months of talks with the National Governors Association and poses political risk for Obama as well as Napolitano, a former NGA chairwoman who wants to soothe strained relations with the states without appearing to retreat on a recommendation by the 9/11 Commission.

Bill Clinton speaks at ADC meeting with Radical Muslim DHS official
The Clinton speech was the centerpiece of three days of workshops on such topics as civil liberties in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks and U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East.In light of that, please review this again: 2007: American Whores of the Caliphate & the ADC: Working towards your dhimmise through infiltration and taqiyya: Part IVAt the group's Saturday luncheon, a senior official of the Department of Homeland Security pledged "to continue to work with you" to protect civil liberties while combating terrorist threats.
DHS Deputy Secretary Jane Hall Lute said Obama's Cairo speech "set the tone and the direction and the intent of this administration in turning a new page, and starting a new chapter in our relationship. One that is built on mutual respect, mutual regard, committed to listen and learn from each other."
Obama's efforts to deal with thorny issues left over from the George W. Bush administration were also praised by Kareem Shora, the executive director of ADC. Shora praised Obama for avoiding using the phrase "war on terrorism," a signature phrase in the Bush era that many Arab Americans feel fanned fears of people of Arab and Muslim descent. Shora's observation drew applause.
Thank you.

None would state their position on the House resolution, but industry analysts and others said they likely lobbied against the measure to show support for Turkey, an important market for weapons and industrial products.
