Masters Of War

Isaiah 17

Woe to the many nations that rage—
they rage like the raging sea!
Woe to the peoples who roar—
they roar like the roaring of great waters!

Moronic U.S. ambassador: We thought maybe Iran would dump Assad after he used WMD.................Samantha Power, the U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, hoped that a team of UN investigators — many of whom, presumably, have a longstanding relationship with Iranian leaders — could write a report that would convince Iran to abandon its ally at the behest of the United States.

The head of the Chaldean Catholic Church, which is based in Iraq and has eparchies (dioceses) in Syria, told the Missionary Service News Agency that the United States should not attack Syria.

"What justice will be done for the Syrians with air raids?" said Patriarch Louis Raphaël I Sako, echoing comments he made a week earlier to the Fides news agency. "Nobody knows the black hole the country is entering but us, the Iraqis: we entered that tunnel before them and, alas, we are still in it."

"Why [did] those pretending to act for the Syrian people's own good not intervene beforehand, with diplomatic means?" he continued. "It seems to me to hear once again the very same words and declarations that were made before the military intervention in Iraq. Then years have passed, and, believe me, we have seen little freedom and democracy."

Referring to the US invasion of Iraq, he added:

We already lived, experienced, and suffered everything that is now happening in other parts of the region. I ask everybody to learn from our mistakes and our sufferings, for dialogue is the only possible way and this way must be kept open.

Syria is already following this path. But an armed foreign intervention would only make things worse and could affect the country and the entire region in unpredictable ways …

If one really wants to stop the massacre of the Syrian people, one must first of all stop sending weapons and ammunition to the warring parties and force the regional powers, which are fuelling the conflict, to find a solution. They are putting the Syrians' lives at stake for unacceptable interests and ambitions. All this has to be stopped with politics not with more bombs. http://www.aina.org/news/20130906125841.htm

The New York Times story, "President Gains McCain's Backing on Syria Attack," is predictable, considering that Obama had invited Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to the White House for the specific purpose of supporting his proposed military strike on Syria. Obama has also asked the same two senators to travel to Egypt to undermine the military leaders who overthrew the Muslim Brotherhood government there.

What is lacking from the media coverage is any recognition that the inevitable result, according to congressional testimony, will be the victory of the Muslim Brotherhood and associated terrorist groups in Syria, and the genocide of the remaining Christians there.

In Egypt, right in front of our eyes, Obama facilitated a Muslim Brotherhood takeover, which has been stopped dead in its tracks by a true people's revolution that has brought the military to power. The Muslim Brotherhood has responded by attacking Christians and their churches.

Reuters) - Chinese President Xi Jinping struck a deal with Kazakhstan on Saturday that will give China a stake in the its giant Kashagan oil project, a highlight of his tour of Central Asia securing hydrocarbons for the world's largest energy consumer.

The $5 billion deal further increases China's rising clout in post-Soviet Central Asia, once Russia's imperial backyard, and blocks an attempt by global rival India to get a stake in the oilfield, the world's largest oil discovery in five decades.

"The two countries have agreed on China's shareholding in the development of the Kashagan deposit," Xi told a news briefing after talks with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev. "The two governments hail and support this agreement."

    "Victim Of Ritual"

    Black eyes, and hardly breathing
    When there’s no light
    You sacrifice
    A war amongst the living
    You lost the fight
    Before the fall

How did you end up in hell?

    Hysterical, tragical
    Victim of ritual
    Cynical, critical
    Victim of ritual
    She’s a killer, killer
    She’s a killer, killer

    Cloacked eyes for every scene
    they try to hide
    in thin disguise
    tonight your soul from singing
    the darkest light
    The night you died

How did you end up in hell?

    Hysterical, tragical
    Victim of ritual
    Cynical, critical
    Victim of ritual
    She’s a killer, killer
    She’s a killer, killer

    Anemona, where’s your heart from

At the beginning of the last century, American scientists, politicians and livestock breeders decided to "create a superior Nordic race." Sixty-thousand men and women, most of them poor or of color, underwent compulsory sterilization - an idea that stimulated the Nazi's eugenics program. The full extent of this medical crime has been described by American journalist Edwin Black in a sensational book.

    ReplyDelete
  61. BabbaZee11:20 AM

The movement was called eugenics. It was conceived at the onset of the twentieth century and implemented by America’s wealthiest, most powerful and most learned men against the nation’s most vulnerable and helpless. Eugenicists sought to methodically terminate all the racial and ethnic groups, and social classes they disliked or feared. It was nothing less than America’s legalized campaign to breed a super race—and not just any super race. Eugenicists wanted a purely Germanic and Nordic super race, enjoying biological dominion over all others.

Nor was America’s crusade a mere domestic crime. Using the power of money, prestige and international academic exchanges, American eugenicists exported their philosophy to nations throughout the world, including Germany. Decades after a eugenics campaign of mass sterilization and involuntary incarceration of “defectives” was institutionalized in the United States, the American effort to create a super Nordic race came to the attention of Adolf Hitler.

Those declared unfit by Virginia did not know it, but they were connected to a global effort of money, manipulation and pseudoscience that stretched from rural America right into the sterilization wards, euthanasia vans and concentration camps of the Third Reich. Prior to World War II, the Nazis practiced eugenics with the open approval of America’s eugenic crusaders. As Joseph DeJarnette, superintendent of Virginia’s Western State Hospital, complained in 1934, “Hitler is beating us at our own game.”

Efficiency and progress is ours once more
Now that we have the Neutron bomb
It's nice and quick and clean
    And gets things done

    Away with excess enemy
But no less value to property
No sense in war but perfect sense at home

The sun beams down on a brand new day
No more welfare tax to pay
Unsightly slums gone up in flashing light

    Jobless millions whisked away
At last we have more room to play
All systems go to kill the poor tonight

Gonna kill kill kill, kill kill the poor
Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor
Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor, tonight

    Behold the sparkle of champagne
The crime rate's gone feel free again
Life's a dream with you, Miss Lily White

Jane Fonda on the screen today
    Convinced the liberals, it's okay
So let's get dressed and dance away the night

While they, kill kill kill, kill kill the poor
Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor
Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor, tonight

Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor
Kill kill kill, kill kill the poor

    Remind us thirty times
    Twenty-nine, twenty-eight, twenty-seven

Now, more than 70 years after Yussuroum and other Greeks fought the German Nazis, Greece confronts the rise of the Golden Dawn Party, which espouses a far-right ideology. Its members use Nazi symbolism and slogans and blame "Jewish bankers" for the country's debt crisis. They say they're patriots, not fascists, a claim that makes Yussuroum, a retired dentist who's now 94, cringe.

"Their minds are sick," he says. "They say the Holocaust is a lie, and they don't believe the Germans killed Jews."

ST. PETERSBURG (The Borowitz Report)—Hopes for a positive G20 summit crumbled today as President Obama blurted to Russia’s Vladimir Putin at a joint press appearance, “Everyone here thinks you’re a jackass.”

The press corps appeared stunned by the uncharacteristic outburst from Mr. Obama, who then unleashed a ten-minute tirade at the stone-faced Russian President.

“Look, I’m not just talking about Snowden and Syria,” Mr. Obama said. “What about Pussy Riot? What about your anti-gay laws? Total jackass moves, my friend.”

As Mr. Putin narrowed his eyes in frosty silence, Mr. Obama seemed to warm to his topic.

“If you think I’m the only one who feels this way, you’re kidding yourself,” Mr. Obama said, jabbing his finger in the direction of the Russian President’s face. “Ask Angela Merkel. Ask David Cameron. Ask the Turkish guy. Every last one of them thinks you’re a dick.”

Shortly after Mr. Obama’s volcanic performance, Mr. Putin released a terse official statement, reading, “I should be afraid of this skinny man? I wrestle bears.”

After one day of meetings, the G20 nations voted unanimously on a resolution that said maybe everyone should just go home.

Natural Gas May Have Profound Impact on Israel's Geopolitics

Israel's recent discovery of huge offshore natural gas reserves could mean a profound transformation for its economy and the region's political stability. The basin is believed to
extend into waters off Syria and Lebanon — a cause for concern, as Israel and Lebanon are technically at war and the maritime border in
    dispute.

In 2010, the bestselling atheist Richard Dawkins, in the “On Faith” section of the Washington Post, called the pope “a leering old villain in a frock” perfectly suited to “the evil corrupt organization” and “child-raping institution” that is the Catholic Church. Nobody seemed to mind very much.

Full disclosure: Five years ago, when I was battling Canada’s “human rights” commissions to restore free speech to my native land, Richard Dawkins was one of the few prominent figures in Her Majesty’s dominions to lend unequivocal support. He put it this way: “I have over the years developed a dislike for Mark Steyn, although I’ve always admired his forceful writing. On this issue, however, he is clearly 1000% in the right and should receive all the support anybody can give him.”

Let me return the compliment: I have over the years developed a dislike for Richard Dawkins’s forceful writing (the God of the Torah is “the most unpleasant character in all fiction,” etc.), but I am coming round rather to admire him personally. It’s creepy and unnerving how swiftly the West’s chattering classes have accepted that the peculiar sensitivities of Islam require a deference extended to no other identity group. I doubt The Satanic Verses would be accepted for publication today, but, if it were, I’m certain no major author would come out swinging on Salman Rushdie’s behalf the way his fellow novelist Fay Weldon did: The Koran, she declared, “is food for no-thought … It gives weapons and strength to the thought-police.”

You see, since war/destabilization/chaos in Syria has been on the drawing board for some time, and since the relevant players knew this episode was coming, they wanted to get rid of Hillary.

She was embroiled in Benghazi. Not the best track record for urging war in Syria. CIA operatives, some of whom were apparently operating under State Department cover, were busy transferring weapons in Libya to terrorists who were fighting against Assad in Syria. Hmm. Better to
    avoid that connection.

In an interview, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Lawrence Wright discusses his new book on Scientology, the organization's ability to manipulate people, how some followers voluntarily spend years in penal compounds and his fascination with L. Ron Hubbard.

Wright: Many intelligent, skeptical people become members of Scientology, like Hollywood screenwriter Paul Haggis. I wanted the reader to feel a little scared about the capacity of the human mind and the human personality to be changed by outside forces, because it is possible to direct a person's thinking and behavior.

    ReplyDelete
  123. BabbaZee9:25 PM

Wright: It is frighteningly easy to implant false memories into people that they then believe to be real.

    ReplyDelete
  124. BabbaZee9:27 PM

Wright: Scientology has so-called rehabilitation centers. They are gulags, similar to those in communist China. The day is spent confessing sins, reading Hubbard's books and working hard. In 2003, church leader David Miscavige set up a detention center on the Sea Org base, called the "Gold Base," in Southern California. Double-wide trailers are placed there.

SPIEGEL: The people are imprisoned in trailers?

Wright: Yes, in trailers without any furniture. Ants run around everywhere, the prisoners sleep on the floor and eat slop out of buckets. They are only allowed out once a day, they are hosed down and have to go back in to practice self-criticism. They often get beaten.

SPIEGEL: Scientology denies all this, claiming the episodes of violence are just lies told by bitter apostates. Who beats them?

Wright: The people are incited to beat each other. One executive of the church had to mop the restroom floor with his tongue.

SPIEGEL: How long do people have to stay there if they have fallen out of favor with the church?

Wright: Even a president of the church, Heber Jentzsch, has been in the Hole for seven years now, although Scientology claims he just makes less public appearances. There is an episode from there, which shows much of the mentality. One evening the foremost Scientology chief David Miscavige comes to the prisoners and says: "We are now going to play musical chairs and only the last person sitting can stay. Everybody else is going to be kicked out of the Hole."

While many Western nations are evacuating their citizens from Syria and the neighbors countries ahead of a potential US strikes, human rights activists are planning to enter the war-torn country and act as "human shields" against a US assault, Britain's The Telegraph reported Saturday.

The 'International Human Shields' movement, started by a group of activists in Britain and the US, plans to bring to Syria civilians from countries around the globe, who will try to deter US strikes on the country by staking out potential military targets

He hasn’t thrown himself on the funeral pyre. I wanted him to sacrifice himself. Instead, he has proved himself to be a corporatist, and as long as he’s a corporatist, he’s not my president,” Asner adds. “A lot of people have lost hope — with the betrayals, the NSA spying …”

“It will be a done deal before Hollywood is mobilized,” Asner continues. “This country will either bomb the hell out of Syria or not before Hollywood gets off its a**.”

“We had a million people in the streets…protesting Iraq, which was about as illegal as you could find. Did it matter? Is George Bush being tried in the high courts of justice?” asks Asner. “We’ve been so…stung in this country by false wars, repeatedly, that, how can you believe in any just war with the history we have had?”

“Whether it’s a Republican or Democrat president, or Republican or Democrat Congress — and it doesn’t make a…difference — it behooves us to get off our a** and ask these questions,” Asner said.

    PSYCHO ALERT!

PSYCHO ON THE LOOSE IN SOUTH CAROLINA!

Facing that strain of skepticism, Graham wound up his case on Syria intervention by raising the stakes considerably. He painted a frightening picture of cascading world events that would reverberate far beyond the borders of a civil war in one Middle Eastern country.

If the United States doesn't deal with Syria, Graham promised Iran would acquire a nuclear weapon by 2014, the King of Jordan would be deposed and Israel would start preparing to protect itself.

"I believe that if we get Syria wrong, within six months -- and you can quote me on this," Graham said, pausing for dramatic effect. "There will be a war between Iran and Israel over their nuclear program."

Although Mahdavi did not visit Shomal, she attended other sex parties in Iran. One evening, she accompanied her friend Babak to a party held in a huge garden with beautiful hanging trees. “Welcome to the jungle,” a young man said as he greeted her. After stripping off her Islamic dress, including her head scarf and manto, she followed the men further into what felt like “the hanging gardens of Babylon.” Babak squeezed her arm and whispered into her ear, “Take a deep breath, Pardis.” As they walked closer to the swimming pool, she noticed it had been drained of water. Voices drifted up from the bottom of the pool. With surprise, she realized that “a full-blown orgy was taking place.” As Babak took off his shirt and “started to wade into the group of young people,” Mahdavi perched herself on the diving board, which seemed like a safe place to observe: “I continued to watch as bodies moved from one trio to another. A group of five men and women huddled together below me. I couldn’t tell who was kissing whom, and I couldn’t see how much oral or penetrative sex was taking place, but it seemed that most of the people were completely naked, and from the movements I could see, it looked as though half were having some kind of sex.”

Another sex party Mahdavi attended was held at a garden estate outside of Tehran, hosted by a young woman whose parents had gone on religious pilgrimage to Mecca. Upon arrival at the property, she heard techno music coming from a bathhouse. She followed her friends inside. When her eyes adjusted to the dim lighting, she saw “forty or so young people present, all naked or in undergarments, kissing, touching, dancing, and some having oral, anal, and vaginal sex.” She watched groups of men and women “engaging in sexual acts with both genders,” until she felt faint from the heat. She began searching for the friends she had arrived with, who had disappeared into the steam. The young woman was “kissing and being kissed by three men.” Mahdavi was unable to find the man who’d driven them; later, she learned that he had been in a back room procuring Ecstasy.

When talking about their weekend adventures, some of Mahdavi’s informants focused on the recreational aspect of the parties: “[There is] alcohol, there is sex, there is dancing, there is—it’s just fun! It’s what we do for fun!” Others viewed the parties as a representation of “all things Western,” a way of gaining status and claiming a cosmopolitan identity; some also expressed ideas about sex as freedom that harked back to ideas underlying the sexual revolution in the United States. Still others claimed parties offered escape and “eased the pain” of living in Iran. As one man said, “Sex is the main thing here; it’s our drug, it’s what makes our lives bearable, that’s what makes parties so necessary.” “If we don’t live like this, we cannot exist in the Islamic Republic,” a woman declared. “We hate our government, despise our families, and our husbands make us sick. If we don’t look fabulous, smile, laugh, and dance, well then we might as well just go and die.”

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Syrian activists say rebels including al-Qaida-linked fighters have gained control of the Christian village of Maaloula northeast of the capital Damascus.

The rebel advance into the area this week was reportedly spearheaded by the Jabhat al-Nusra, or Nusra Front, exacerbating fears among Syrians and religious minorities in particular about the role played by Islamic extremists within the rebel ranks

“They shot and killed people. I heard gunshots and then I saw three bodies lying in the middle of a street in the old quarters of the village,” said the resident, reached by telephone from neighboring Jordan. “So many people fled the village for safety.”

Now, Maaloula “is a ghost town. Where is President Obama to see what befallen on us?” asked the man, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal by the rebels.

    Luke 10:

25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’[a]; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[c] and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

"'I actually would want to see if I can serve in the IDF,' said Dan, 21. 'I've heard from friends of mine who have trained with it that it's the best army in the world, the most professional, with the best operations.'"

And that, folks, is the truth. It's all about the quality of the fight in the soldier, not the quantity of soldiers in the fight.

Quality -- something at which Israel excels.

Syndicated conservative columnist Dr. Charles Krauthammer alluded to the “guns of August” in his latest article for The Washington Post, a reference to 1914 and the build-up that lead to World War I. On last Friday’s “Special Report” on Fox News he elaborated on that reference by comparing early 20th century Germany to Iran today, a growing superpower that its neighbors do not know how to contain.

Krauthammer explained, “It scares the hell out of the Arabs. It’s a Persian country. And it now has a client in Syria. The war is being driven by Iran. There’s actual evidence that the Iranian agents, the Revolutionary Guards were involved in the poison gas. Iran controls Hezbollah, which spreads terror in the Middle East and in the region. And Iran is the one driving the war. Iran is looking and it is also developing the nukes, of course.”

  188. BERLIN – Radical German Islamists participated in the murders of Syrian Christians in an early August attack on the Turkish-Syrian border, according to a report in the German magazine FOCUS.

The magazine reported last week the involvement of nearly 100 “fanatical” German Muslims, including Germans who converted to Islam, in the Syrian civil war.
