Any World That I'm Welcome To

For a son dishonors his father,
a daughter rises up against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—
a man’s enemies are the members of his own household.
Micah 7

...a man’s enemies
will be the members of his own household...

I'll try messing around with my own blog to see what changes can be made. I have quadruple-checked the comment settings here and the word verification is set to OFF. I can't find any other thing to change to make it go away.

Manufacturers are also keen to cash in on what they expect to be a
burgeoning new drone market. Government and commercial drone-related
expenditures are forecast to total $89 billion worldwide over the next
decade. On the leading edge of that new market are state and local
police departments, who say that in many cases drones are cheaper, more
practical and more effective than manned aircraft. Most of them would be
small drones, generally weighing less than 55 pounds. They could be
used, for example, to search for missing children or to scout a location
    ahead of a SWAT team.

But privacy advocates caution that drones equipped with powerful
cameras, including the latest infrared cameras that can "see" through
walls, listening devices and other information-gathering technology
raise the specter of a surveillance society in which the activities of
ordinary citizens are monitored and recorded by the authorities.

How has Big Pharma managed to get so many children on
expensive drug cocktails for "mental illness"? Drugs that they may
    not even need?

Big Pharma has spent millions on public relations campaigns
that tell parents, teachers and clinicians to dose children at the first sign
of problems. It knows if parents treat their kids early they will never know if
the kids needed the druga in the first place and whether residual problems are "mental
illness" or drug side effects. The kids will also probably be life long
customers because parents will be afraid to take them off the drugs. No wonder
Pharma tells parents not to wait for "excessive energy" or "mood
swings" to go away in the awareness campaigns. Ka-ching.

meeting with the '' the Egyptian today newspaper'', Hussein said: ''We
are supporting rights of the Palestinian people, and any talk before
restoring full rights of Palestinians is some kind of intellectual
    reprehensible luxury.

    "We
would meet none of the Israelis till the Zionist entity commits to its

Oath Keepers is a non-partisan association of currently serving military, veterans, peace officers, and firefighters who will fulfill the oath we swore to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic, so help us God.

Our oath is to the Constitution, not to
the politicians, and we will not obey unconstitutional (and thus
illegal) and immoral orders, such as orders to disarm the American
people or to place them under martial law and deprive them of their
    ancient right to jury trial.

We Oath Keepers have drawn a line in the sand. We will not “just follow orders.”

Our motto is “Not on our watch!”

If you, the American people, are forced
to once again fight for your liberty in another American Revolution, you
will not be alone. We will stand with you.

    What We Are Not

“written by Capt. Gregory Gooch (Ret.) in March, 2009″ who was is now a retired member of the Oath Keepers National Board.

We are Not advocating or promoting the
overthrow of any government whether local, state or national. We want
our governments to return to the Constitutional Republic which the
    Declaration of Independence and the

    Constitution defined and instituted.

We are Not advocating or promoting
violence towards any organization, group or person. We are determined to
Keep our Oath to support and defend the Constitution.

We are not advocating or promoting the
removal of any person from his or her elected office. We want all
elected persons to live up to their Oath to “support and defend the
Constitution” as it is written or to leave of their own volition.

We are not advocating or promoting that
anyone in the Judicial Branch be removed or replaced. We want the
Justices in the Judicial Branch to follow the Constitution as written
    without interpretation.

We are not advocating or promoting any
particular form of government other than the Constitutional Republic
which the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution defined and
    instituted.

We are not advocating or promoting the
rewriting of the Constitution nor are we asking for an Amendment
thereto. We are insisting on the Constitution being Enforced as it is
    written.

We are Not advocating or promoting any act or acts of aggression against any organization or person for any reason including, but not limited to; race, religion, national origin, political affiliation, gender or sexual orientation.

We hope for a return to a Constitutional Republic free from fear and hatred.

    We hate only tyranny.

    2. We will NOT obey orders to conduct warrantless searches of the American people

    3. We will NOT obey orders to detain American citizens as “unlawful enemy combatants” or to subject them to military tribunal.

    4. We will NOT obey orders to impose martial law or a “state of emergency” on a state.

    5. We will NOT obey orders to invade and subjugate any state that asserts its sovereignty.

    6. We will NOT obey any order to blockade American cities, thus turning them into giant concentration camps.

    7. We will NOT obey any order to force American citizens into any form of detention camps under any pretext.

    8. We will NOT obey orders to assist or support the use of any
foreign troops on U.S. soil against the American people to “keep the
    peace” or to “maintain control."

    9. We will NOT obey any orders to confiscate the property of the American people, including food and other essential supplies.

10.We will NOT obey any orders which infringe on the right of the
people to free speech, to peaceably assemble, and to petition their
government for a redress of grievances.

Gov. Romney’s response to the war-powers question in Savage’s 2011
survey, Romney promised only to “consult closely with Congress” in a
similar situation — and made clear that he considers the War Powers
Resolution’s limitations on the president’s power to be
unconstitutional. Romney also affirmed he’d be willing to authorize
military detention and targeted killing of American citizens.

If you have doubts about the constitutionality of that fearsome array of
powers, if you worry about concentrating so much “trust and temptation”
in one fallible human being’s hands — and you should — then the 2012
campaign presents a pretty dispiriting choice: Do you prefer a candidate
who’s flagrantly violated his promises not to violate the Constitution,
or one who tells you right up front that he’ll probably commit the same
    abuses?

This leads to the third and perhaps most disturbingly critical
discovery. If my investigative findings are correct, it is my opinion as
a professional investigator that the events in Libya, which have now
spread across the globe, were a direct result of a covert CIA mission
that appears to have been compromised from within our own government. If
I am incorrect, however, the alternative is even more unthinkable.

YORAM ETTINGER EXPLAINS SUKKOT AND NO ONE DOES IT BETTER

Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles) Guide for the Perplexed

    http://TheEttingerReport.Com

    1. The US covenant with the Jewish State dates back to Columbus Day, which is celebrated around Sukkot (October 8). According to “Columbus Then and Now”
(Miles Davidson, 1997, p. 268), Columbus arrived in America on Friday
afternoon, October 12, 1492, the 21st day of the Jewish month of
Tishrey, the Jewish year 5235, the 7th day of Sukkot, Hoshaa’na’ Rabbah,
which is a day of universal deliverance and miracles. Hosha’ (הושע) is
the Hebrew word for “deliverance” and Na’ (נא) is the Hebrew word for
“please.” The numerical value of Na’ is 51, which corresponds to the
celebration of Hoshaa’na’ Rabbah on the 51st day following Moses’ ascension to Mt. Sinai.

    2. Sukkot is the 3rd Jewish holiday –
following Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur – in the month of Tishrey, the
most significant Jewish month. According to Judaism, the number 3
    represents divine wisdom, stability,

    permanence, integration and peace.
3 is the total sum of the basic odd (1) and even (2) numbers. The 3rd day of the Creation was blessed twice; God appeared on Mt. Sinai on the 3rd day; there are 3 parts to the Bible, 3 Patriarchs, 3 pilgrimages to Jerusalem, etc.

    3. The Book of Ecclesiastes, written by King Solomon – one of the greatest philosophical documents – is read during Sukkot. It amplifies Solomon’s philosophy
on the centrality of God and the importance of morality, humility,
family, friendship, historical memory and perspective, patience,
long-term thinking, proper-timing, realism and knowledge. Ecclesiastes
4:12: “A 3-ply cord is not easily severed.” The Hebrew
name of Ecclesiastes is Kohelet (קהלת), which is similar to the
commandment to celebrate Sukkot – Hakhel (הקהל), to assemble.

    4. Sukkot starts on the 15th day of the Jewish month of Tishrey, commemorating the Exodus and the beginning of the construction of the Holy Tabernacle in Sinai. Sukkah (סכה) and Sukkot (סכות) are named after the first stop of The Exodus – Sukkota (סכותה). The Hebrew root of Sukkah (סכה)
is “wholesomeness” and “totality” (סך), “shelter” (סכך), “to anoint”
(סוך), “divine curtain/shelter” (מסך) and “attentiveness” (סכת).

It is my own theory that the lulav and etrog are the model for the Western scepter and orb. The Roman symbol of authority was the fasces, not the scepter. Scepters are often made with leaf-pattern ornament, and the orb is usually gold with a "pitom" in the shape of a cross.

In the new book, Unsung Davids: Ten Men who Battled Goliath without Glory, Ben Barrack identifies ten men who fought the good fight without regard for the odds or the consequences. The book focuses on the fights of ten different men.
One of those men is Walid Shoebat.
If you’ve found yourself wondering about the validity of the smears and attacks on Shoebat by members of the mainstream media, this book puts all those questions to rest. Barrack has presented never-before-seen evidence and witness accounts that demonstrate Shoebat’s story is spot-on accurate. He presents proof that attempts made by Shoebat’s accusers don’t just ring hollow; they carry the unmitigated stench of libel and slander.
After reading Barrack’s book, you will understand why those accusers would hang their heads in shame if they had consciences.
Barrack’s account of Shoebat’s story leaves no doubt as to the former PLO member’s loyalty.
Learn how Shoebat exposed the Ground Zero mosque imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf and Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Chief of Staff, Huma Abedin. You will also read excerpts from Shoebat’s speeches and interviews that have never been published before. http://www.shoebat.com/2012/10/01/walid-shoebat-an-unsung-david/

    This is unbelievable.
Don’t look now but the Obama Administration blamed the numerous “friendly fire” attacks in Afghanistan this year on US troops. ......

Top officials believe culturally offensive behavior is the motivation behind the killings, so it’s stepped up Islamic sensitivity training for our troops. If you don’t want to be shot in the back by your Afghan training partners, the Pentagon advises, don’t offend their religious sensibilities. Don’t kick your feet up on a table, for instance, and never ask to see a picture of their wives and kids. “There’s a percentage [of attacks] which are cultural affronts,” Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Martin Dempsey said in a recent interview. Dempsey echoes the concerns of Gen. Sher Mohammad Karimi, the Afghan National Army’s chief of staff, who earlier this month argued both sides need to do more to “teach” foreign troops Islamic traditions and values to reduce the chance of violent reactions to cultural slights. “It is our duty to teach this to them. Our indifference about these issues causes the incident,” he said.
What an ignorant and insensitive statement.

On September 16, popular TV persona Wael El-Ibrashi hosted Dr. Zaghlul al-Naggar, a prominent Islamic thinker and Chairman of Egypt’s Committee of Scientific Notions in the Quran, on the topic of medical science and Islam. Inevitably the idea of drinking camel urine as a form of therapy—first proposed in the 7th century by Muslim prophet Muhammad—came up.
Not only did Dr. Naggar promote this practice, but he made the staggering announcement that right now in Egypt a medical center in Marsa Matrouh actually specializes in treating people with camel urine, all in accord with the prophet’s advice. http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/

Oct. 1….(Times of Israel) If Youssef Zoabi is right, Israel
has good reason for concern. Speaking from an office in Amman, where he took
refuge after fleeing his native Syria 14 months ago, Zoabi said the fall of the
Assad regime will enable Syrians to realize their deepest aspiration, to
regain the Golan Heights from Israel, “through negotiations or by force.”
“Why do Western countries not intervene in Syria on a humanitarian basis?
Because of Israel,” he asserts. “Once the Assad regime disappears, people will
start thinking about retaking the land which is rightfully theirs. “We have no
problem with negotiations with Israel, as long as the outcome does not include
concessions or capitulation,” he says. “The entire Syrian people agrees on
regaining its rights first by peaceful means and, if that doesn’t work, through
other means. Israel is terrified by this.

A decades-old Sacramento, Calif. burger joint is shutting its doors for being out of compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act because the owner says he can’t afford to bring it up to code.
Ford’s Real Hamburgers has been slinging burgers, fries and shakes for years, but was hit hard in the recession. Now, KTXL-TV is reporting that a local attorney who makes his living filing ADA cases — many on his own behalf — is suing the restaurant — and Ford‘s can’t keep up.
“We scrimped and saved and cut down the staff. I’m down to six employees,” owner Hank Vereschzagin told KTXL.
As the station noted, Ford’s is indeed out of ADA compliance: There isn’t enough room to roll into the bathroom in a wheelchair. But Vereschzagin said he just doesn’t have the money to fix the more than 60-year-old building. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/landmark-calif-burger-joint-forced-to-shut-down-over-ada-lawsuit/

on metal. With the 4th Amendment in red. It's called "Bill of Rights, Security Edition,"
and it's made just for flying. It's a great idea. A really great idea. It sets
off the metal detectors and you get to hear the security person say, "I'm going
to have to take away your Bill of Rights." Well, it's not going to actually work
like that very often, but the idea is there. I now have some power over them. I

It means placing no daylight between the United States and Israel. And it
means using the full spectrum of our soft power to encourage liberty and
opportunity for those who have for too long known only corruption and
oppression. The dignity of work and the ability to steer the course of their
lives are the best alternatives to extremism.

But this Middle East policy will be undermined unless we restore the three
sinews of our influence: our economic strength, our military strength and the
strength of our values. That will require a very different set of policies from
    those President Obama is pursuing.

The 20th century became an American Century because we were steadfast in
defense of freedom. We made the painful sacrifices necessary to defeat
totalitarianism in all of its guises. To defend ourselves and our allies, we
paid the price in treasure and in soldiers who never came home.

Our challenges are different now, but if the 21st century is to be another
American Century, we need leaders who understand that keeping the peace requires
American strength in all of its dimensions.

Mr. Romney is the Republican Party candidate for president. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10000872396390444712904578024293333633994.html?mod=rss_opinion_main
