CREAM: I FEEL FREE
YO Feralmanity ~
Freedom is defined by the secularists as:
LACK OF CONSEQUENCES.
This translates subconsciously in the psyche as
"I am inconsequential"
Which explains why they are perpetually unhappy, and why they are so easily duped and conquered by totalitarian ideologies.
Biblical freedom, on the other hand is not so malleable. Which is why there is even one Jew left on this planet today.
From Moses to Nakba we are FREE. America was founded on these JEWISH ideals.
Christians are set free by the blood and the name of a JEWISH man, a Jewish messiah.
Freedom Belongs to the GOD of Abraham and to those in covenant with the GOD of Abraham, no matter what they call themselves.
Which is why the other side is so desperate to destroy it.
It's been over 4,000 years and no one has been able to kill it yet.
Bring it, MFers. We're standing here.
2 Peter 2:19
They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity—for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.

Happy Fourth, Feralmanity!
The Bible verse that always sticks in my mind is Ephesians 2:11-22:
http://www.biblegateway.com/pass...20;&version=31;
It describes the spiritual kinship of Jews and Gentiles, how through Jesus they have been brought together. The walls that separated them are torn down through the shedding of His Blood.
Verse 19 is fascinating -- the terms used are peroikoi and xenoi. The first means "resident alien" and was a Greek legal distinction for those who lived in a community but were not full legal members. The second likewise had a legal, but also a moral significance as "outsider," someone with no place in the community.
Ferals, in other words.
Within the church those distinctions make no difference; we are all fellow citizens in the "polity" - the city -- of God.
In that city, we are ruled by His law, and what I always explain to my students is that His law is the foundation of freedom. Freedom from bondage to the will of any man; freedom from arbitrary justice; freedomm from fear; freedom from want; freedom of conscience; freedom even from death, which holds no terror for the righteous.
The law of freedom is the right to stand before our Creator and Lawgiver as free men and women, and not be in thrall to anyone.
