Goldman Sachs and Citigroup Plan to Issue FDIC Guaranteed Debt

"We're investing in systems and processes, and next year we will have another 1,000 (workers)," Citigroup's country business manager Mark Jones was quoted as saying.
He added that the new jobs to be created in the Philippines would be for Citigroup's call center and financial reporting operations."There's a whole lot of activity moving in the Philippines as we grow our businesses. Citi is moving more equity in the Philippines. If you look at the business, we're repositioning globally," Jones said

Even the prudent are screwed in SoCal now

In 1997, Mohamed Vazir Muhsin, a Sri Lankan accountant, was chosen by then-World Bank President James Wolfensohn as the first chief information officer in the institution's history. Eight years later, Muhsin was unceremoniously thrown out the door, and the bank's information security headaches reached migraine stage.

Early on in his tenure, Muhsin selected Satyam Computer Services, one of India's largest and fastest-growing technology firms, to create and maintain the software programs that would make the bank's information infrastructure into one of the world's most important data bases. Both sides found the deal highly beneficial.

By late 2005, when he was accused of improper ties with Satyam and ousted from the bank, "Mohamed was arguably the most powerful person in the bank," one insider who worked closely with Muhsin told FOX News. So powerful, in fact, that he was able to conceive and arrange a bank loan in 2003 to his native Sri Lanka — bypassing the department that would normally have approved it. The project, known as "e-Sri Lanka," involved a no-interest, $53 million bank loan to Sri Lanka's government to help wire up that nation's communications infrastructure.

IRAQ: We Will Slit Your Infidel Throats

IRAQI CHRISTIANS ARE FACING EXTINCTION
The 2000 year old Iraqi Christian Community is facing ethnic cleansing at the hands Muslim terrorists and is in danger of being wiped off the face of the earth. Unless something is done to help them, they are in danger of disappearing from the planet within one generation.

.- A Christian bishop in Iraq has received a threatening letter from an Islamic extremist group belonging to Al Qaeda which orders Christians to leave the country “immediately and permanently.”

The text of the letter, reportedly written by the Islamic extremist group Ansar al-Islam, was published in Arabic on the website of Al-Ittihad, an online daily news service, SIR reports.

The letter reads:

“The Secretary General of the members of the Islamic Brigade decided to give the Christian crusader infidels of Baghdad and the other provinces the last warning, to leave Iraq immediately and permanently and join Benedict XVI and his followers, who have trampled on the greatest symbols of humanity and Islam.”

“There’ll be no room in Iraq for the Christian infidels from now on,” the letter continues, threatening that those who remain will have their throats slit as “it is happening to the Christians of Mosul.” This is more than likely a reference to a recent attack on two sisters who were killed by Muslim extremists.

Iraqi Christians have faced severe persecutions in recent years, with some being forced to pay the “jizya” or protection money and some women being made to wear a headscarf, which is known as the hijab. The Christian community has also suffered forced conversion to Islam, rapes, murders and the destruction of homes.

Iraqi Christians Face Intense Persecution

There have been numerous recent accounts of bombings, beheadings, kidnappings, death threats, vandalism and discrimination towards Christians in Iraq who are not just caught in the crossfire, but are actual targets. In the past four years more than 40 churches and Christian institutions have been attacked, and in the past two years nine Christian priests or bishops have been kidnapped and/or killed. This video was produced by the Chaldean Center in Beirut, Lebanon.

TRANSCRIPT OF OBAMA'S RADIO ADDRESS
Good morning. The news this week has only reinforced the fact that we are facing an economic crisis of historic proportions. Financial markets faced more turmoil. New home purchases in October were the lowest in half a century. Five-hundred-forty-thousand more jobless claims were filed last week, the highest in 18 years. And we now risk falling into a deflationary spiral that could increase our massive debt even further.

Iran visits Gambia

WHY? Gambia is a very tiny country, one of the poorest on earth, and already Islamic.....

2004: Gambia announces discovery of big onshore and offshore oil fields

FEBRUARY 2008:
Gambian President Yahya Jammeh has announced the discovery of "very large quantities" of oil onshore and offshore. The announcement comes as a surprise as it now is one year since the last known international oil company was told to leave The Gambia.

Some Gambians think their government is full of shit, that there is no oil there at all.
An Australian company, GB Energy, was chosen to start exploration in the Gambia, but never did. Since I don't find China and Russia sniffing around, or any Islamic "insurgents" or "pirates" operating the area, I think maybe the guy who thinks "Gambian Oil" is a hoax may be right. Obviously Iran thinks otherwise or they would not have made the trip. In any event no one really cares about Africa or the African people. All the developed nations want is control of the wealth and power of African natural resources. If someone ultimately does the exploratory drilling and hits oil in the Gambia, the "insurgents & pirates" will be there immediately, followed closely by whichever government or corporation is paying them for their "services" as a proxy army. May GOD watch over those who are righteous in Africa.

Russia proposes June 2009 world grains summit
It is not enough for Putin to own Europe's heat, hot water and refueling capabilities ~ he wants to own your food too. He's not fucking around ferals... Obama is a featherweight ~ a punk kid next to him, and he knows it. Be ready for almost anything from Russia over the next four years. Putin knows how to spot opportunites and he has shown he has the balls to seize them by any means necessary.
