What is this Jewish Ethiopian refugee doing in America?
    http://refugeeresettlementwatch.wordpress.com/2013/09/13/what-is-this-jewish-ethiopian-refugee-doing-in-america/
There’s more to the story, but at this point my head began to spin. Fitsum was referred to HIAS and he ended up in the U.S.? He could have gone to Israel at any time in his life and be given entry as a Jew. Not only that, but his father was Israeli! Father was described as an engineer so he wasn’t an uneducated guy. He must have known his son stayed with him although he could have gone to Israel during the airlift. So why didn’t he say, “Son, when I’m gone, get yourself to Israel”? But since apparently the father didn’t think ahead for his son, why didn’t HIAS get him resettled in Israel?

Instead, Fitsum ended up with Catholic Charities in Hartford, Connecticut, which settled him in an apartment with a Muslim roommate who “objects to his Judaism.” He avoids being at home and sometimes rides a bus all night to avoid the situation. He couldn’t hold the jobs he got and believes he has medical problems that hamper his functioning. With all those beatings, he could be brain damaged, and from the description of him in the article it seems quite possible. If he were in Israel, he would be getting top-notch medical care, but here he is just one more pathetic refugee.

A&M at least made it an interesting game. Bama has some weaknesses, especially with the offensive line. There will be no three-peat this year, hay. There's also a lack of discipline on the team and that will hurt them running through the SEC this year on its own. Good team, but lacks direction. They have great coaches but lack leadership in the lockeroom where it counts. Just an observation. Ohio State can't play toe to toe with them, but Georgia, LSU, and Florida all might give them a hand full. They got out of that A&M game lucky. They were practically trying to lose the game on their own. They do that down the road and they'll get a bowl game, but not the MNC. If Braxton watched the game today, he should be as pissed off as Nick Saban is tonight.

SPIEGEL: You've created a wild scenario in your novel: The dead come back to life, seize power and see themselves as the saviors of Russia and the entire world. Does this metaphor mean that Russia is haunted by its past?

Erofeyev: My book is a novel about the human soul and nature. It could be said that every individual is somehow ruled by the dead, who block their path to the future. I've applied this realization to the entire country.

SPIEGEL: And why have you done that?

Erofeyev: To show that Russia is a land of the dead. After the Communist revolution in 1917, there were hardly any proper cemeteries. During the Civil War, many corpses rotted in the fields -- and in the villages there were sometimes no men left to bury the dead. There were mass shootings and mass graves. People were killed because someone wanted their position, their apartment or their wife. Indeed, in Russia all of the dead bear a grudge. The dead live in discord among us.

Muslims in the area are demanding Christians pay them “jizya,” a kind of tax that Islamic law requires religious minorities to pay Muslims.

However, the tax is so high many Christians simply can’t afford it.

The Voice of the Martyrs reports that a Muslim man demanded a Christian in a village in Assiut pay him nearly $1,500.

When he failed to come up with the money, several Muslims went to his home and shot him and his cousin to death.

Walid Shoebat told of how he is now being harassed and spied upon by the Obama administration over the work he has done uncovering Obama’s familial Islamist ties, especially his brother Malik Obama who is a supporter of terrorism. Shoebat said his phone is being tapped so they can listen into his house even when he is not on the phone. He said he has received harassing phone calls over and over and that a pre-taped, un-aired phone interview he had just recorded was played back to him on his phone just after he had finished recording it and hung up. Just unbelievable.

But Shoebat says he is an Eastern Christian and try as they may to wear him out by harassing him, he will not give up telling the truth to the American people about this president. Shoebat says the only way they will stop him is to kill him and he says, essentially, ‘bring it on.’

The Obama administration is nearing completion of a proposal to require that movie theaters offer technology so blind and deaf people can go to the cinema.

The draft rule, which is part of a decades-long effort by advocates for people with disabilities, would likely require thousands of movie theaters across the country to offer devices that display closed captioning and provide audio narration of what’s happening onscreen............

But theater owners worry that a federal mandate will force small, rural and struggling theaters to close given the costs associated with the rule.

“These theaters can barely stay in existence and often need community support to break even,” the trade group wrote in a comment to the Justice Department’s 2010 precursor to the upcoming proposal. “To require them to install expensive closed captioning technology at this time is an undue financial burden that may result in these theaters closing.”

Sanaa, Yemen (CNN) -- Yemen's human rights minister wants child marriage outlawed after an 8-year-old girl reportedly died of internal injuries that she suffered on her wedding night.

When reports emerged last week that a girl named Rawan, from the northern Yemeni town of Haradh, died a few days after being married off to a 40-year-old man, Yemenis were horrified.

International outrage quickly grew, as the alleged incident highlighted once again the extremely controversial issue of child marriage in Yemen -- a country where the practice is still legal.

An unarmed man who may have been looking for help after a vehicle wreck was shot and killed by a police officer Saturday as he ran toward him, police said. The officer was later charged with voluntary manslaughter.

A statement issued by police said officers responded to a breaking and entering call on the city's east side around 2:30 a.m. Someone had knocked on the door of a residence, and the homeowner opened the door, thinking it was her husband. When she discovered it wasn't, she closed the door and called 911.

When officers arrived, they found Jonathan A. Ferrell, 24, a short distance from the home, and he matched a description given by the homeowner, police said.

Officer Randall Kerrick. / Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police

The statement said officers approached Ferrell to investigate the original call. Ferrell ran toward the officers and was hit with a Taser. Ferrell continued to run toward police when Officer Randall Kerrick fired his weapon, hitting Ferrell several times. Ferrell was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said they think a wrecked car discovered down an embankment in nearby woods may have been driven by Ferrell, and investigators say he may have been trying to get help from the resident who called 911.

Rafiq Habib, a Christian researcher and son of the founder of a Christian social missions group, has reportedly become the acting chairman of the Muslim Brotherhood's Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) in Egypt, according to World Bulletin. Egyptian experts confirmed to The Christian Post about Rafiq's astounding support for the Muslim Brotherhood, but those who know him personally rejected the report that he is leading the Islamic political organization as true.

Michael Youssef, an Egyptian-born pastor and leader of Leading the Way ministries in Georgia, told CP in a statement Friday, "His father, Dr. Sam Habib, was a dear friend of mine." Youssef described the son as "a nominal Christian."

The Egyptian-born megachurch pastor disagreed that Rafiq had become interim leader of the Muslim Brotherhood's political arm in Egypt. "That is not true," Youssef wrote, adding "a spokesman denied this news."

Nevertheless, the pastor agreed that Rafiq supports the Muslim Brotherhood and formerly served as vice president of FJP.

Rafiq's father, Sam Habib, runs the Coptic Evangelical Organization for Social Services (CEOSS), which Youssef described as "the social work arm of the Coptic Evangelical Presbyterian Church."

Meanwhile, the Rev. Dr. Andrea Zaki Stephanous, general director of CEOSS, told CP, "Rafik is responsible for his action and he does not represent our organization in any way." She wrote that CEOSS supports "the June 30 revolution as well as the road map to democracy as proclaimed by the Army," which would be in direct conflict with the position of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Jonathan and Sarah Adleta's children were doomed to a life of perverse cruelty before they were even born.

Jonathan Adleta, a former Marine officer, dreamed of the day he could have "daddy-daughter sex." After Sarah Adleta became pregnant with a daughter, he said he would marry her only if she agreed to let him carry out that desire. When the couple had a son, Sarah Adleta was expected to have sexual encounters with him.

In an Orlando federal courtroom this week, prosecutors and witnesses described, in disturbing and graphic detail, the heinous exploitation and abuse the couple's toddlers endured at the hands of their parents — even after they divorced.

In June 1744, the College of William & Mary invited the Indians of the Six Nations to send six young men to be “properly” educated. They received this reply:

We know that you highly esteem the kind of learning taught in those Colleges, and that the Maintenance of our young Men, while with you, would be very expensive to you. We are convinc’d, therefore, that you mean to do us Good by your Proposal; and we thank you heartily. But you, who are wise, must know that different Nations have different Conceptions of Things; and you will therefore not take it amiss if our Ideas of this kind of Education happen not to be the same with yours. We have had some Experience of it: Several of our young People were formerly brought up at the Colleges of the Northern Provinces; they were instructed in all your Sciences; but when they came back to us, they were bad Runners, ignorant of every means of living in the Woods, unable to bear either Cold or Hunger, knew neither how to build a Cabin, take a Deer, or kill an Enemy, spoke our Language imperfectly, were therefore neither fit for Hunters, Warriors, or Counsellors; they were totally good for nothing. We are, however, not the less oblig’d by your kind Offer, tho’ we decline accepting it; and, to show our grateful Sense of it, if the Gentlemen of Virginia will send us a Dozen of their Sons, we will take great Care of their Education, instruct them in all we know, and make Men of them.

Addressing the commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard in Tehran on Monday, the newly-installed Iranian leader claimed that "a study of the (present) conditions in Libya, Egypt, Lebanon, Palestine, Iraq and Syria shows that the West has made a chain of them and seeks to strengthen Israel and weaken the resistance front."

Fars reported that Rohani referred to the recent "war rhetoric of the West against Syria and Damascus' important role in the region" and said, "The Syrian issue is the fate of a big region and not just a country and it may even change the fate of the world under some (specific) conditions."

Russia says may be time to force Assad's foes to talk peace .............MOSCOW - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Monday it may be time to consider efforts to force foes of Syrian President Bashar Assad to attend an international peace conference instead of just urging them to do so.

He also said after talks with Egypt's foreign minister that any calls for a swift UN resolution threatening potential punishment for Syria under Chapter VII of the UN Charter - which can include the use of force - showed a "lack of understanding" of an agreement reached for Syria to abandon its chemical arms. http://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/Russia-says-may-be-time-to-force-Assads-foes-to-talk-peace-326251

RIYADH - SAUDI Arabia defended on Tuesday a controversial verdict sentencing a 19-year-old gang rape victim to six months jail and 200 lashes.

The Shiite Muslim woman had initially been sentenced to 90 lashes after being convicted of violating Saudi Arabia's rigid Sharia Islamic law on segregation of the sexes.

In its decision doubling her sentence last week, the Saudi General Court also roughly doubled prison sentences for the seven men convicted of raping her, Saudi media said.

    International outcry

The upholding of a decision to punish the victim triggered international outcry.

While declining to directly criticise the Saudi Arabia's judiciary, US State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said, 'I think when you look at the crime and the fact that now the victim is punished, I think that causes a fair degree of surprise and astonishment.'

According to the Egyptian military, the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas (Gaza Muslim Brotherhood) have “anti-aircraft missiles.”

The army seized weapons including anti-aircraft missiles, [an Army spokesman] said. Motorized paragliders had also been found, which he said showed an effort to develop new methods of attack.

Where did they get these missiles? Who knows, perhaps it was from an Obama “street vendor” outside the American consulate in Benghazi.

They found the weapons while demolishing buildings on the border between Egypt and Gaza.

The Egyptian army is clearing buildings deemed a security threat at a distance of up to one km (0.6 miles) from the Gaza border, an army spokesman said on Sunday, accusing groups in the Hamas-run territory of mounting joint attacks with Sinai militants.

Oddly, Egypt isn’t facing the same wrath from the progressive movement that Israel does for doing the exact same thing, protecting itself from the terrorists of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Where is Roger Waters? Where is Bill Ayers? Where is Code Pink? Where is Oliver Stone? They’re all conveniently silent unless it’s Jews protecting themselves from the jihadis that surround them. Why is that?

    America: An Empire Of Evil
    http://shoebat.com/2013/09/16/america-empire-evil/

    By Theodore Shoebat

America is an empire plunged into evil. It is devising, orchestrating, and fighting for the cause of, evil. It has become a driver for the wiles of the devil, and the supporter of the slaves to the devil, the heretic Muslims who are, as we speak, slaughtering Christians in the most savage and vicious manner.

Assad has agreed to give away his chemical arsenal, but this will not stop the interventionists from pushing an attack on Syria. McCain has deemed the agreement as “meaningless”, and added that it “requires a willful suspension of disbelief to see this agreement as anything other than the start of a diplomatic blind alley, and the Obama administration is being led into it by Bashar Assad and [Russian President] Vladimir Putin.”

The only thing meaningless behind this deal is attempting to please the Americans. This is why it is my suspicion that the agreement will not abate the interventionists, and they will orchestrate an attack regardless of what Assad does.
