California Gov. Brown signs transgender-student bill

California Gov. Jerry Brown signed a controversial bill into law Monday afternoon allowing the state’s transgender public school students to choose which bathrooms they use and whether they participate in boy or girl sports.

The families of transgender students have been waging local battles with school districts around the country over what restrooms and locker rooms their children can use.

    Peanut Sauce:
    gently warm together:
    1 can coconut cream
1 cup plain peanut butter, just peanuts and salt, ok
    2 heaping T brown sugar
    Sriracha to taste
    a little salt
some minced ginger, maybe a teaspoon in all
    1 T sesame oil
    1/4 cup water
1 T fish sauce if you like it

thaw, do not cook half a bag of tiny peas

make a big cooker of rice, I like basmati with salt and butter cooked into it. Do this first. haha

serve sauce over rice, throw in some peas and if you happen to have some cooked chicken breast or some tofu its good in there too...maybe some sliced green onions. Raw stuff is good in this on the plate.

They like this and will eat anything with this peanut sauce on it.

.. Let’s see, Rubio champions the bipartisan bill and craters in Iowa and elsewhere as a Republican presidential prospect.

Cruz opposes amnesty and starts roaring up the road in Iowa. (Though that’s only one issue for his appeal.)

Will Republican congressmen from gerrymandered districts see the connection??

Did they get to be Congressmen by ignoring the obvious? …. (Of course not...anyway, they've already decided to throw another election... into the lap of Hillary Klinton.)

The Repulsican establishment really really wants amnesty.

I came across an interesting article in NPR of all places that described how HB1 visas are actually mostly used by consulting firms, most of them Indian in origin. The liberal chanmpions, Schmuckerberg and Bill Gates get much of their workforce from these consulting firms. The outsourced American workers actually have to train their HB1 visa replacements...

Man In Need Of Bone Marrow Transplant Finds His Health Coverage Terminated Over $0.26

It appears that the question “Can anyone spare a quarter?” is not one you need to be worried about when your life is on the line. But one couple found out exactly how dire of a situation a little more than a quarter could get them into after the husband’s health coverage was terminated months before he was scheduled for a bone marrow transplant to treat his leukemia. The reason? A $0.26 shortfall on a monthly COBRA premium.

Karin Price Mueller of the New Jersey Star-Ledger spoke to the man’s wife, who inadvertently wrote a check for $518.00 instead of $518.26 when sending payment to Paychex, the company handling COBRA for her husband’s previous employer.

It was all a mistake, says the wife, one that almost cost her husband his life. Paychex cashed the check at first, and the man kept on receiving treatment. Then the hospital told him he didn’t have insurance coverage.

Read the rest of this shameful example of Obama Fascism here: http://consumerist.com/2013/08/12/man-in-need-of-bone-marrow-transplant-finds-his-health-coverage-terminated-over-0-26/

Bad News: Your Medical Records Are Probably For Sale

Electronic medical records are kind of cool: they help your doctors beam your prescription records back and forth from pharmacies and are supposed to save everyone money and time. What you may not realize, though, is that digital records are easy to share, and what’s easy to share is easy to sell. Somewhere, your most private medical data is probably for sale.

Blame your state health department. Bloomberg Businessweek explains that digital records make it very easy for hospitals to share aggregate data with state agencies for research and population-tracking purposes. This data has any identifying information stripped off before it leaves the hospital, which means that your privacy is ensured, right? Well, not so fast. While researchers have no evidence that anyone is actually doing this, it is theoretically possible for data miners to buy this population-wide health data from the state government, then plug in other information from public databases and firms that track consumer behavior.

50 Traitors To Sell Out the Nation

During World War 2 Norway was ruled by Vidkun Abraham Lauritz Jonssøn Quisling. A man who's name has become synonymous with traitor. Norway was lucky in their Quisling. We have become very unfortunate. We don't have just one Quisling, we have 50 of them.

Forty to 50 House Republicans will support immigration reform, Rep. Luis Gutiérrez (D-Ill.) predicted Thursday.

This obsession with the right meat follows the diaspora wherever it goes. In California, voters made the slaughter of horses, the exportation of horses for slaughter, and sale of horsemeat for human consumption illegal in 1998, shutting down one of the last bastions for horse-based cuisine in America. The ban hit the Kazakh and Kyrgyz diasporas in San Francisco hard, says Alma Kunanbaeva, a native Kazakh and professor of Central Asian nomadic cultures at Stanford University; horsemeat is the pillar of their cuisine, from beshbarmak (boiled horse dumplings) to shuzhuk (fatty horse-intestine sausages) to zhal (smoked horse neck fat). But, Kunanbaeva says, there are rumors of members of the San Francisco community finding a way around the ban—sneaking out of the city in the middle of the night to poach wild horses in Nevada and smuggling the carcasses across the state line by dawn.

Hillary Clinton Claims To Restore American’s “Faith In Government” In Upcoming Foreign Policy Speeches

Is this a joke, I’m afraid not. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton announced that she would be launching a series of speeches about Foreign policy in which she will try and emphasize a restoration of the people’s faith in government. Mrs. Clinton seems to forget that she is one of the big factors by which the American people are not only skeptical but down right mistrustful of our government. She also plans to address Voter I.D. laws saying that they were passed under “a phantom veil of voter fraud.” Is she serious? Yes, I’m afraid she is.

let’s not forget Hillary’s famous comment while testifying before a House Committee about what happened in Benghazi when she said, “We have four dead Americans what difference does it make?”

I was going to fret over whether or not she had packed or is packing everything that she'll need. I came to the realization that she'll figure it out. she's an intelligent young woman. I was packed off and with Uncle Sam's misguided lads less than 30 days after I turned 18 and had a CIB by the time I was her age. She'll be fine. now it's time for her to follow her own stars.

That truck is going to be loaded up tomorrow, and her dorm room is on the 8th floor of course. Good thing I have a strapping young lad to help haul all the crap up to her room. not exactly recommended for morons like me who recently got heart stents.

US-led Israeli-Palestinian talks get off to confused start. Palestinians shun security issues

“The Secretary would be better advised to focus on the hardening of the Palestinian position,” said Israeli sources. They also pointed out that although Kerry had insisted on the talks being held in confidence, his own people were pouring out confidential data to the media. “This can only be explained,” said the Israeli sources, “by the talks having run into crisis before they begin.”

Aug. 13….(WND) During a radio interview Sunday, a representative of al-Qaida in the Gaza Strip sent a message to the United States: “Islam is coming and there is no other choice.” That sentiment was expressed by Abu Saqer, leader of Jihadiya Salafiya in the Gaza Strip, speaking on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on New York’s WABC Radio. Jihadiya Salafiya represents al-Qaida in the Gaza Strip.

Saqer further stated that after battling Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the thousands of foreign jihadists currently in Syria could turn their ire on what he called the many other “enemies of Islam,” including Israel and the United States. Saqer did not say the spread of Islam in the US will come through violence. “Islam is coming and there is no other choice,” he told Klein about America and Europe. “Because we think Islam will come and this is something that no one can prevent,” he stated. “And we will raise the Islamic flag on every point on earth where Muslims live and we will chase all the enemies of Islam wherever they are. Even in the West, in Europe and in the United States.”

Asked where he thinks the thousands of foreign jihadists fighting Assad will go next, Saqer replied, “After finishing with him, there are many enemies for Islam.” He continued: “At the head the Zionist enemies is the United States

Rolling Stone To Publish Michael Hastings Last Story On CIA Director John Brennan
    http://www.sandiego6.com/story/cia-director-brennan-confirmed-as-reporter-michael-hastings-next-target-20130812
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vCjYNUQu0rQ

This week Elise Jordan, wife of famed journalist Michael Hastings, who recently died under suspicious circumstances, corroborated this reporter's sources that CIA Director, John Brennan was Hastings next exposé project.

Last month a source provided San Diego 6 News with an alarming email hacked from super secret CIA contractor Stratfor's President Fred Burton. The email was posted on WikiLeaks and alleged that then Obama counter-terrorism Czar Brennan, was in charge of the government's continued crackdown or witch-hunt on investigative journalists.

After providing the Stratfor email to the CIA for comment, the spymaster's spokesperson responded in lightning speed. Two emails were received; one acknowledging Hastings was working on a CIA story and the other said, "Without commenting on information disseminated by WikiLeaks, any suggestion that Director Brennan has ever attempted to infringe on constitutionally-protected press freedoms is offensive and baseless."

The emails also prompted a phone from CIA media spokesman Todd Ebitz. He said they were saddened by Michael's death and reiterated their position that they had a cordial working relationship with the investigative reporter.

On the other hand, Stratfor, specifically Fred Burton, remains nonresponsive.

As for Hastings' final story, his wife said Rolling Stone would publish the Brennan piece in an upcoming edition of the magazine.

    Was speed a factor?

The release of a new surveillance video from a nearby Italian restaurant by Michael Krikorian, an author, freelance blogger who also writes for LA Weekly, reveals a lot of information about Hastings' final seconds.

A University professor told San Diego 6 News that calculating the speed of Hastings car follows a simple mathematic equation. By using the video and the distance traveled (195 feet) as well as the seconds that lapsed prior to the explosion -- the car was traveling roughly 35 mph.

That revelation is important because Jose, an employee of ALSCO a nearby business, and a witness to the accident told KTLA/Loud Labs (Scott Lane) the car was traveling at a high rate of speed and he saw sparks coming from the car and saw it explode BEFORE hitting the tree.

The pre-explosion could possibly explain the flash of light on the video that preceded the appearance of the car in the video. The pre-explosion and slower speed could also explain the minimal damage to the palm tree and the facts the rear tires rested against the curb. It also provides an explanation for the location of the engine and drive train at more than 100 feet from the tree impact area.

This new information prompted another round of FOIA/CPRAs and only adds to the questions that remain unanswered. One of those questions is where was Mr. Hastings going at 4:30am? Based on the accident location, Hastings was only 1.5 miles from his home and was headed away from his address.

Other unanswered questions point to the contents (computer, phones, notes, etc.) of his home, so far there has been no response from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) FOIA request regarding these issues. Also, numerous FOIAs have been filed with other federal agencies concerning details of Hastings suspicious car "accident."

He and the IAEA were jointly awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. http://www.latimes.com/news/science/sciencenow/la-sci-sn-facebook-bummer-20130814,0,3655078.story

Facebook users in a study led by the University of Michigan wound up feeling worse about themselves after two weeks, and their moment-to-moment mood darkened the more they browsed the social medium. It didn't seem to matter how big their network was, how supportive they thought their friends were, nor why they went to Facebook in the first place, according to the study published online Wednesday in PLOS One.

"We were able to show on a moment-to-moment basis throughout the day how people’s mood fluctuated depending on their Facebook usage,” said University of Michigan social psychologist Ethan Kross, lead author of the study.

"We measured lots and lots of other personality and behavioral dimensions, like, for example, frequency of Facebook use," Kross said. "But none of the factors that we assessed influenced the results. The more you used Facebook, the more your mood dropped."

    Sunday Morning Sex

Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent's house to visit her 95 year-old gran...dmother and comfort her. When she asked how her grandfather had died, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning." Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100 years old having sex would surely be asking for trouble. "Oh no, my dear," replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong." She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued, "He'd still be alive if the ice cream truck hadn't come along."

The logic behind the sex-jihad (or in Arabic jihad al-nikah) is that women are permitted to copulate with single, male Brotherhood protesters to help alleviate their sexual frustrations so they can focus on empowering Islam—which among the Brotherhood is synonymous with empowering the Brotherhood—without becoming too restless and possibly abandoning the jihad.

Twenty-eight of California's congressional representatives are throwing their weight behind state legislation that would make it harder to deport immigrants who are in the country illegally.
