This Song

Hear this, you kings! Listen, you rulers!
I, even I, will sing to the Lord
I will praise the Lord
the God of Israel, in song.

    Morsi is Americas baby...stop-it....you are upsetting Barry..............

    Nearly 15 million people have signed a petition to hold early presidential elections, in a campaign seeking to “remove confidence” in Egypt’s Islamist President Mohamed Morsi, Egypt Independent reported.

    Tamarod, the opposition campaigned meaning “rebel” in Arabic, was launched in May, attempting to 15 million signatures to outnumber the votes gained by Morsi in last year’s presidential election.

    conducting a stress test in a mission critical system is an important step that GovCo seems to have over looked with their data vacuuming effort underway snooping pretty much every thing on the intertubes.

    well,...we live in a very generous and giving culture and would like to help out in any way that we can.

    Giant US government Internet spying scandal revealed

    The Washington Post and The Guardian have revealed a US government mass Internet surveillance program code-named "PRISM". They report that the NSA and the FBI have been tapping directly into the servers of nine US service providers, including Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Yahoo, YouTube, AOL and Skype, and began this surveillance program at least seven years ago. (clarifying slides)

    These revelations are shaking up an international debate.

    StartPage has always been very outspoken when it comes to protecting people's privacy and civil liberties. So it won't surprise you that we are a strong opponent of overreaching, unaccountable spy programs like PRISM. In the past, even government surveillance programs that were begun with good intentions have become tools for abuse, for example tracking civil rights and anti-war protesters.

    Programs like PRISM undermine our Privacy, disrupt faith in governments, and are a danger to the free Internet.

    StartPage and its sister search engine Ixquick have in their 14-year history never provided a single byte of user data to the US government, or any other government or agency. Not under PRISM, nor under any other program in the US, nor under any program anywhere in the world. We are not like Yahoo, Facebook, Google, Apple, Skype, or the other US companies who got caught up in the web of PRISM surveillance.

    Here's how we are different:

    StartPage does not store any user data. We make this perfectly clear to everyone, including any governmental agencies. We do not record the IP addresses of our users and we don't use tracking cookies, so there is literally no data about you on our servers to access. Since we don't even know who our customers are, we can't share anything with Big Brother. In fact, we've never gotten even a single request from a governmental authority to supply user data in the fourteen years we've been in business.

    StartPage uses encryption (HTTPS) by default. Encryption prevents snooping. Your searches are encrypted, so others can't "tap" the Internet connection to snoop what you're searching for. This combination of not storing data together with using strong encryption for the connections is key in protecting your Privacy.

    Our company is based in The Netherlands, Europe. US jurisdiction does not apply to us, at least not directly. Any request or demand from ANY government (including the US) to deliver user data, will be thoroughly checked by our lawyers, and we will not comply unless the law which actually applies to us would undeniably require it from us. And even in that hypothetical situation, we refer to our first point; we don't even have any user data to give. We will never cooperate with voluntary spying programs like PRISM.

    StartPage cannot be forced to start spying. Given the strong protection of the Right to Privacy in Europe , European governments cannot just start forcing service providers like us to implement a blanket spying program on their users. And if that ever changed, we would fight this to the end.

    Privacy.

    It's not just our policy - it's our business.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We are working hard to offer you an encrypted email service later this year called StartMail. We have to stand up and protect our freedoms from increasing overreach from data gatherers. You've made the right choice by using StartPage.com. Now is the time to tell others!
    FBI sharply increases use of Patriot Act provision to collect US citizens' records
    The FBI has dramatically increased its use of a controversial provision of the Patriot Act to secretly obtain a vast store of business records of U.S. citizens under President Barack Obama, according to recent Justice Department reports to Congress. The bureau filed 212 requests for such data to a national security court last year – a 1,000-percent increase from the number of such requests four years earlier, the reports show.
    The FBI has dramatically increased its use of a controversial provision of the Patriot Act to secretly obtain a vast store of business records of U.S. citizens under President Barack Obama, according to recent Justice Department reports to Congress. The bureau filed 212 requests for such data to a national security court last year – a 1,000-percent increase from the number of such requests four years earlier, the reports show.
    The FBI’s increased use of the Patriot Act’s “business records” provision — and the wide ranging scope of its requests -- is getting new scrutiny in light of last week’s disclosure that that the provision was used to obtain a top-secret national security order requiring telecommunications companies to turn over records of millions of telephone calls.
    Taken together, experts say, those revelations show the government has broadly interpreted the Patriot Act provision as enabling it to collect data not just on specific individuals, but on millions of Americans with no suspected terrorist connections. And it shows that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court accepted that broad interpretation of the law.
    “That they were using this (provision) to do mass collection of data is definitely the biggest surprise,” said Robert Chesney, a top national security lawyer at the University of Texas Law School. “Most people who followed this closely were not aware they were doing this. We’ve gone from producing records for a particular investigation to the production of all records for a massive pre-collection database. It’s incredibly sweeping.”
    The Justice Department and FBI did not respond to requests for comment. But in a recent interview with NBC News, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper dismissed the idea that the records were being used to spy on innocent Americans. “The notion that we’re trolling through everyone’s emails and voyeuristically reading them, or listening to everyone’s phone calls is, on its face, absurd,” he said. “We couldn’t do that even if we wanted to.”
    But little-noticed statements by FBI Director Robert Mueller in recent years – as well as interviews with former senior law enforcement officials – hint at what Chesney calls a largely unnoticed “sea change” in the way the U.S. government collects data for terrorism and other national security investigations.
In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made [each one] for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.     2 While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
    3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
    4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
    5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God:
    6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
    7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The Lord looseth the prisoners:
    8 The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous:
    9 The Lord preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
    Something just dawned on me and I found it sort of startling. I've heard a number of people mentioning that we seem to be introduced to a new scandal from the White House once, sometimes twice a week. We're being overloaded with it and the newest scandal washes the last scandal under its wake. Right out of rules for radicals, it's so simple and obvious but very effective also.
    The Clinton White House operating much in the same fashion, but that was small potatoes, whether or not Bubba got a hummer in the Oval Office, etc. This is much larger in scope and much more dangerous. Fundamental Change is taking on an ominous ring to it now.
    This is not going to stop until the powers that be decide THEY want it to stop.
    With almost Tolkienesque malice it seeks to see all, hear all, and know all- and owing to complacency that runs the gamut from your blithe acquiescence to your active participation, increasingly looks close to meeting its total information omniscience goal. Yet, the Golem is possessed of no craft, no subtlety, no art. Its sensory organs inform crude appendages that know how to do nothing but squeeze, smash, stomp, kidnap, and explode the targets of its interest without apology or feeling. Moreover, the Golem has no sense of proportion, happily imposing costs of $10 billion on the developed world to collect less than one tenth of that in revenue for itself, raining fire from the sky upon any collection of persons it feels might maybe contain a couple troublemakers. It thinks nothing of shutting down the 20th largest city within its borders (at a cost of many billions of dollars) to hunt down a single sleep-deprived, starving, wounded, and suicidal criminal. Likewise, it laughs to spend hundreds of thousands in time and expenses to ransack those of its Subjects' entities with operating budgets of $20,000, $15,000, or even less, or to ruin a mid-sized enterprise with a displeasing political orientation over vague foreign regulations on the exportation of wood.
    Buffalo Police To Army Vet: Oops, Wrong Apartment… Sorry We Killed Your Dog (Not)
    by Ben Bullard
    An Army veteran who’d been living at the same Buffalo, N.Y., address for three years got home Monday afternoon to discover that someone had torn down the door, shot up the apartment, ransacked the place and killed his dog, Cindy, who was leashed in the kitchen.
    Breaking and entering in broad daylight. Animal cruelty. Adam Arroyo appeared to have been the victim of big-city crime.
    But wait — whoever it was had left a piece of paper behind, a note. Not a note, a warrant. It wasn’t robbers after all; this was all police work.
    The guy the cops were looking for evidently lived around the building’s corner. He was being sought on suspicion of dealing crack cocaine. The two apartments are completely separate and have separate entrances. All the cops had to do before indulging their trigger fingers was double-check the clearly marked mailbox.
    According to WKBW in Buffalo, Arroyo is an Iraq combat veteran who plans to become a member of the National Guard. He told the ABC affiliate he isn’t a drug user or a drug pusher.
    “Never. Never. I don’t do drugs. I’m a United States veteran. I work every day. I’m just trying to live my life… For police to wrongfully come into my house and murder my dog… It wasn’t that they felt threatened. No. They murdered my dog. That was my dog, man. That was my dog. They didn’t have to do that, you know. They didn’t have to do that.”
    Arroyo now has to pay to have his pet cremated. The door repair will come out of his own pocket. He’s also had to miss work.
    The Buffalo P.D. suit who talks to the media trotted out the same stale, self-justifying nonsense you always seem to hear whenever police unload on dogs that aren’t a threat.
    Spokesperson Michael DeGeorge said the police “don’t believe the dog was chained or leashed” at the time they burst through the door — even though that’s how Arroyo left his pet in the morning, and how he found her when he got home.
    DeGeorge also said the department’s Internal Affairs division will investigate, but that the police (somehow) believe they got the address right.
    Arroyo said he plans to press charges against the city.
Monday, June 10, the Russian lawmaker Aleksey Pushkov, an influential foreign relations policy adviser to the Kremlin, said: “The issue has not been yet solved, it is being considered. We must take some real action because we cannot exclude that the Syrian-Israeli topic would be involved in large-scale military action.” Shortly before he spoke, the military announced in Moscow that the Russian Airborne Troops had formed a separate brigade especially designed to serve as peacekeepers “under the aegis of the United Nations or as part of the force set up by the Russian-led CSTO (Russian-Asian) security bloc for combating terrorism.     Sunni Muslim insurgents have killed about 60 Shi’ite Muslims in a rebel-held eastern Syrian town where President Bashar al-Assad’s agents had been trying to recruit and arm fighters for his cause, according to opposition sources on Wednesday.
    The attack was another sign of how a revolt that began more than two years ago with peaceful protests against four decades of Assad family rule is descending into sectarian bloodshed.
    A video posted online by rebels on Tuesday, entitled “The storming and cleansing of Hatla” showed dozens of gunmen carrying black Islamist flags celebrating and firing guns in the streets of a small town as smoke curled above several buildings.
    “We have raised the banner ‘There is no God but God’ above the houses of the apostate rejectionists, the Shi’ites, and the holy warriors are celebrating,” the voice of the cameraman says.
    Many of the fighters involved in the attack were said to be from the al Qaeda-linked Nusra Front.
    One step away from the GULAG we joke about.....................
    After you read this- you will wonder what country we are in.
    Tom Francois is an outspoken critic of Barack Hussein Obama- and has a robust Twitter presence. He also likes to dabble with his “paint” program to create funny cartoons. He has never threatened the President in any way, manner or form.
    On April 11, 2013, he heard relentless pounding on his door shouts of “Police!” The officers introduced themselves as members of The Secret Service and asked if they could “take a look around.”
    Since Tom had nothing to hide (and he didn’t want any return visits) – he complied fully with their request. He even signed a consent to search his premises AND an “Authorization To Review Medical and Mental Health Records!”
    They asked Tom if he ever left his state or traveled to Washington, D.C.
    One Agent asked Tom if he has any intentions of “whacking” the President.” To which Tom replied- “Of course not. I wish him no harm. I disagree with his policies and actions and I make no bones about it. It’s my First Amendment Right and I intend to exercise it.”
    When I spoke to Tom he said, “Yes, I am EXTREMELY critical of Obama in my posts, but I never cross the line and threaten his being. EVER. It’s just the idea of Obama’s Secret Service intruding on my life when they knew I wasn’t really a threat.”
    http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2013/06/secret-service-visits-outspoken-obama-critic-because-of-tweets/
    The Secret Service had a thick FBI file- filled with screenshots of hundreds of posts. Said Tom, “I flat out told them ‘I have NEVER threatened Obama’s life! Yes, I despise him as you can plainly see, but I have that right!’ They actually ADMITTED and agreed with me that I hadn’t threatened Obama.”
    Former United Nations Ambassador John Bolton said Wednesday he’s not convinced admitted National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden acted alone.
    “We don’t know the full story here yet. The kinds of things he’s had access to don’t make sense that somebody in his position could have gotten all together. So I’m not at all sure that he’s acting completely alone here. I think there’s a lot to still be learned about his activities,” Bolton.
    Snowden, 29, is a former CIA worker who was employed by NSA contracting firm Booz Allen Hamilton for less than three months before being fired this week.
    Beirut: Islamist rebels celebrated the killing of some 60 Shiites, mostly
    The videos emerged on Wednesday, a day after a major clash in a village in
    The Federal Emergency Management Agency won’t pay for the City of West to repair or replace nearly $60 million dollars for schools, sewer and water lines, and other infrastructure problems caused when a fertilizer plant explosion rocked the rural community two months ago.
    The federal agency decided the financial toll of the disaster — which killed 15 people and destroyed or damaged 200 homes — was not severe enough to warrant money to replace infrastructure that has left part of the city without water or sewer for more than two months after the explosion in mid-April.
    (snip)
    West Mayor Tommy Muska blasted the federal decision. Shortly after the explosion, President Barack Obama traveled to the community to pledge support for the city, a pledge he says the president has reneged on.
    “He said he was going to be right behind us,” Muska said. “He’s so far behind us that we can’t even find him.”
