Anti-Muslim activists on the Right have consistently warned that the
Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated the Obama administration. But if
their unhinged McCarthyism is to be believed, then Mitt Romney’s
campaign has been penetrated by the Muslim Brotherhood as well, as
Romney’s campaign has named George Salem, Samah Norquist and David
Ramadan “National Co-Chairs of Arab Americans for Romney.”

    Pamela Geller labeled
George Salem’s Arab American Institute a “nototrious anti-Israel Israel
[sic] organization” composed of “Islamic supremacists” and led by a
“Jew hater.” She even suggested that the AAI seeks “Jewish annihilation” by backing Mideast peace efforts.

The United States had an unmanned Predator drone over its consulate
in Benghazi during the attack that slaughtered four Americans — which
should have led to a quicker military response, it was revealed
    yesterday.
“They stood, and they watched, and our people died,” former CIA commander Gary Berntsen told CBS News.
    The
network reported that the drone and other reconnaissance aircraft
observed the final hours of the hours-long siege on Sept. 11 — obtaining
information that should have spurred swift action.
    But as
Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three colleagues were killed by
terrorists armed with AK-47s and rocket-propelled grenade launchers,
Defense Department officials were too slow to send in the troops,
    Berntsen said.

An election ploy? I am thoroughly disgusted.

Do you honestly believe that an Arab-Americans for Obama group
wouldn’t be the subject of an anti-Obama TV commercial throughout the
country? Do you honestly believe that people wouldn’t see such a group
as proof that Obama “hates” Israel or is really a Muslim? And just
imagine if that group included people with ties to the Palestinian
Authority or even Hamas… It would be brutal. The so-called Emergency
Committee for Israel would be taking out full page ads in every
newspaper across the land. But when the support is given, not to
President Obama, but rather to Mitt Romney? Crickets. Silence. Nada.
    To
my Jewish friends who are uneasy about their support for President
Obama (or who may not be supporting him because of Israel, I ask you to
    think about these questions.

At this hour Ms Geller has not issued a statement declaring Mr Romney
unfit to hold the office of POTUS because of his association with AAI
which is a classic case of criminal hypocrisy. We,
Ourselves, of The Collective ask Ms Geller, why are you silent on these
matters now. How can you continue your support in the light of your
past statements and support for Mitt Romney, or even better how can any

    Advice to the Wealthy: SELL!

Bloomberg: Wealthy Advised to Sell for Gains Before Unfriendly 2013:

That’s the message from some financial
advisers, who are telling wealthy clients that the remainder of 2012
amounts to a last-chance sale on federal tax rates. Taxes are set to
rise in January in the U.S., pushing the top rate on dividends to 43.4%
from 15% and the top rate on capital gains to 23.8% from 15%. ...
    Advisers at companies including Wells
Fargo, Bank of America, Bank of New York, JPMorgan Chase, Northern Trust
and U.S. Bancorp are discussing with their wealthy clients such
strategies as selling appreciated securities, relocating assets to
tax-deferred retirement accounts, converting IRAs, exercising stock
options and making large gifts to heirs this year.

Wealthy is a relative term, but I've taken all of those steps over the last month or so.

Syrian Terrorism: Menace in the Skies

This is the legacy of Chris Stevens’ efforts to supply heavy arms to John McCain’s “Heroes”,
the Al Qaeda aligned terrorists fighting under the umbrella of the
“Free Syrian Army”. With an estimated 2,000 plus shoulder launched
anti-aircraft weapons removed from Libyan weapons depots and now in the
hands of die-hard jihadists, it is only a matter of time until these
missiles are used against Western aircraft.

Perhaps the Obama Administration has deluded itself into believing
that their weapons transfers would only aid the war against secular
Arabs in Syria and Jordan, and Zionist Jews in Israel. Such wishful
thinking is painfully simplistic and ignores the lessons of recent
    history.

A committee of the Canadian parliament studying the persecution of religious minorities heard hair-raising testimony about the treatment of Christians at the hands of Muslims in Iraq. Speaking before the human rights committee on August 17, Filham Isaac of the Nineveh Advocacy Committee testified that since war began in Iraq in 2003, approximately 12 Christian children, some as young as 10, have been abducted and murdered, then crucified near their homes in an effort to torment their parents and warn the Christian community at large. In one case, an infant was kidnapped and then decapitated. The tiny corpse was burned and left on his mother’s doorstep, the committee heard.

Isaac also spoke of the many Iraqi Christian churches bombed and burned, clergy murdered, and Christian women raped or doused with disfiguring acid. On August 1, 2004, there were six coordinated bombings of Christian churches on the same day. Subsequent fatal attacks included one on Christmas Day, 2010. Since 2003, there have been at least 45 church bombings in Iraq.

These assaults, he asserted, are part of a systemic effort to purge Iraq of non-Muslims. This was largely accomplished in the 1950s in the case of Iraq’s millennial Jewish population, who had resided there since the time of the Patriarch Abraham. Chaldean and Assyrian (also known as Chaldo-Assyrian) Christians were once the largest Christian minority in Iraq and include members of the Chaldean Catholic Church, the Syrian Catholic Church, the Syriac Orthodox Church, and the Church of the East. The Chaldeans are not ethnically Arab, being descended from the ancient Mesopotamians who adopted Christianity long before Muhammed and the Islamic religion emerged from the wastes of Arabia.

In a report by the Ottawa Citizen, Isaac said that some 300,000 Chaldeans are currently refugees, which is equal to approximately 1 in 3 Chaldeans overall. "It's at a crisis point," said Zaya Oshana of the Nineveh Advocacy Committee, "Christians will be completely annihilated," said Oshana, according to the paper.

Speaking before the human rights committee on August 17, Filham Isaac of the Nineveh Advocacy Committee testified that since war began in Iraq in 2003,
approximately 12 Christian children, some as young as 10, have been abducted and murdered, then crucified near their homes in an effort to torment their parents and warn the Christian community at large.

In one case, an infant was kidnapped and then decapitated. The tiny corpse was burned and left on his mother’s doorstep, the committee heard.

...Christians like the thousands of frightened Iraqis who face Christmas
in the context of escalating anti-Christian violence. In the most
shocking report from Iraq we have received, a toddler was kidnapped in
Baghdad in October 2006. The mother could not afford to pay the ransom,
and so the kidnappers killed the child. They returned the body to the
mother. The little child had been beheaded, roasted and was served on a mound of rice. In another incident a 14-year-old Christian boy was held down by his limbs and beheaded, or, as Iraqi Christians have described it, “crucified”. His Muslim attackers called him a “dirty Christian sinner” and chanted “Allahu akbar” (Allah is great).

My county. This woman is a lawyer, allegedly fired at a census worker who came onto her property in the next town north of me. Not convicted of anything, but held in a psych ward for two years and now they bill her almost $100K and they probably take her property. She is quite rational by all reports. The Soviet Union would be ashamed..

Carolyn Barnes received her latest hospital bill on Oct. 3.“Dear Ms. Barnes,” it said. “You owe the Kerrville State Hospital $97,728 as reimbursement for the support, maintenance and treatment it provided to you for dates of service March 20, 2012 through September 30, 2012.” If the bill was not paid or successfully challenged, the letter continued, the hospital would file a lien against Barnes’ property.More surprising than the amount of the bill are the circumstances. Unlike most hospital patients, Barnes neither asked for nor wants the care she has been receiving at Kerrville, one of the state’s 10 taxpayer-supported psychiatric hospitals. Two years ago a Williamson County judge ordered her into the hospital system when she was found mentally incompetent to stand trial. According to the order, she is to be held until her competency is “restored” — that is, she is psychologically stable enough to answer the charges against her in court.(snip)Because of her lengthy confinement in Kerrville, she and her son have struggled to pay their bills. Last month, Williamson County sued to recover $8,000 in delinquent property taxes on her Liberty Hill home.“You can’t forcibly commit someone and then make them pay for it,” Barnes said in an interview from the state hospital. “For $509 a day, I could be in a five-star hotel.”

    Halevy: The US President
acts within the confines of US law. So, for instance, American officials
are not allowed to deal with Hamas. This is the through point.

In 2006, the US, under the George W. Bush administration, decided that
it is in the interest of the United States that Hamas participate in the
Palestinian elections. It twisted the arm of both Israel and the
Palestinian Authority, to make it come about […] The outcome was they
won, not by the popular vote. […]

Why limit your options. Why limit the capacity of the government to
deal with deadly enemies, without accepting their ideology. It inhibits
    you. […]

    Most people
would be unable to complete the proposed new form no matter how
much time and money they invested in research. Requiring someone
to complete Form DS-5513 would amount to de
facto denial of their application for a passport —
    which, as
we told the State Department, appeared to be the point of
    the form.

The Occupying Forces in the US has ordered airline common carriers not to allow any would-be
passenger to board any international flight departing from the US
without individualized prior permission from the government. Any attempt to leave the US, even by land, without a passport, has been criminalized,
without any recognition of passport issuance as a right. The State
Department, in its claimed “discretion” to deny passports to US citizens
at whim, has increasingly been demanding that passport applicants
answer impossibly detailed and irrelevant interrogatories to establish their identity and citizenship. At the same time, the State Department has tried to suppress
knowledge of its own regulations which entitle passport applicants to
establish their identity by the testimony of a witness rather than by paper credentials.

And the State Department continues to ignore our complaints
that these practices violate US obligations under the same provisions
of the same human rights treaties that the US has invoked against Cuba.

The State Department is now seeking approval for a (slightly) revised Form DS-5513 as well as a new Form DS-5520, also for passport applicants, containing many of the same questions.

The State Department no longer wants you to tell the passport
examiner about the circumstances of your circumcision, but does still
want to know the dates and locations of all of your mother’s pre- and
post-natal medical appointments, how long she was hospitalized for your
birth, and a complete list of everyone who was in the room when you were
born. The revised forms no longer ask for all the addresses at which
you have lived, but only for those addresses you are least likely to
know: all the places you lived from birth until age 18.

And so on, as you can see for yourself on the proposed Form DS-5513 and Form DS-5520.

    Through his whole defense
Goering maintained that he was a peace loving man and was unaware of many of
the killings; the prosecution was able to turn his defense around on him every
time. As second in line after Hitler, Goering carried a lot of the guilt because
he had the power to stop orders. His outlandish claims of being unaware and
only working for the state and the economy could not mask the destruction and
cruelty he imposed on millions of people (Gilbert 202-216).

The Goering case is an excellent example of the Nuremberg trials
and of the general Nazi defense. The theme of assigning responsibility of the
events during the Nazi regime onto everyone but oneself was practiced by all
the Nazis and Germans involved, which made it difficult to assess blame until
the final ruling. The trials focused on assessing the blame for the Holocaust
on individuals, rather than the country, which made it difficult to weed out
the perpetrators. However, it was a necessity to charge the guilty as to bring
justice but also to ensure that nobody would try this “final solution” again.

Göring was found guilty on all four counts and was sentenced to death by hanging.

    The judgment stated that:

There is nothing to be said in mitigation. For
Göring was often, indeed almost always, the moving force, second only to
his leader. He was the leading war aggressor, both as political and as
military leader; he was the director of the slave labour programme and
the creator of the oppressive programme against the Jews and other
races, at home and abroad. All of these crimes he has frankly admitted.
On some specific cases there may be conflict of testimony, but in terms
of the broad outline, his own admissions are more than sufficiently wide
to be conclusive of his guilt. His guilt is unique in its enormity. The
record discloses no excuses for this man.[110]

Defying the sentence imposed by his captors, he committed suicide with a potassium cyanide capsule the night before he was to be hanged.[3]

The 2012 presidential election is still more than two weeks away, but on Friday a CBS News affiliate in Arizona called the race for President Barack Obama.

For 17 seconds, Phoenix, Arizona CBS News affiliate KPHO ran a lower third graphic that showed that Obama had won the Nov. 6 election over Gov. Mitt Romney with 99% of the precincts reporting. The lower third graphic appeared around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, during an episode of “The People’s Court.”

The CBS News graphic showed Obama winning the election with 43 percent of the vote nationwide to Romney’s 40 percent -– or 40,237,966 votes to 38,116,216. It is unclear who garnered the other 17 percent in the fictional election results.

KPHO’s general manager did not return The Daily Caller’s request for comment by time of publication.

Why Firing a Bad Cop Is Damn Near Impossible

Over the summer, a still from a surveillance camera showing a police officer kicking a handcuffed woman in the head went viral on Facebook and email. The text below the picture read, "Rhode Island police officer Edward Krawetz received no jail time for this brutal assault on this seated and handcuffed woman. Now he wants his job back. Share if you don't want this to happen." The allegation was wild enough to pique the interest of the rumor-debunking site Snopes.com, which determined that the story was, in fact, true.

But he wasn't fired from the Lincoln Police Department. Under Rhode Island law, the fate of Krawetz's job as a cop rested not with a criminal court, or even his commanding officer, but in the hands of a three-person panel composed of fellow police officers—one of whom Krawetz would get to choose. That panel would conduct the investigation into Krawetz's behavior, oversee a cross-examination, and judge whether Krawetz could keep his job. The entire incident, in other words, would be kept in the family.

Unlike a member of the public, the officer gets a "cooling off" period before he has to respond to any questions. Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation is privy to the names of his complainants and their testimony against him before he is ever interrogated. Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation is to be interrogated "at a reasonable hour," with a union member present. Unlike a member of the public, the officer can only be questioned by one person during his interrogation. Unlike a member of the public, the officer can be interrogated only "for reasonable periods," which "shall be timed to allow for such personal necessities and rest periods as are reasonably necessary." Unlike a member of the public, the officer under investigation cannot be "threatened with disciplinary action" at any point during his interrogation. If he is threatened with punishment, whatever he says following the threat cannot be used against him.

I overheard a nice lady about 70 telling her friend the following: "Yes, I voted today."

    "Going back tomorrow too."

"They took us to a place that don't ask names and don't write nothing down. They give $20 each time."

She then handed her friend a card I couldn't see and told her friend to call the number.
