“Items of interest will be located, identified, monitored, and remotely controlled through technologies such as radio-frequency identification, sensor networks, tiny embedded servers, and energy harvesters — all connected to the next-generation internet using abundant, low-cost, and high-power computing,” Petraeus said, “the latter now going to cloud computing, in many areas greater and greater supercomputing, and, ultimately, heading to quantum computing.”

Petraeus allowed that these household spy devices “change our notions of secrecy” and prompt a rethink of “our notions of identity and secrecy.” All of which is true — if convenient for a CIA director.

now if anything, this theory makes sense to me

In previous articles, I've made a case for Snowden being a CIA operative who still works for his former employer. He was handed a bunch of NSA data by the CIA. He
didn't steal anything. The CIA wants to punch a hole in the NSA. It's called an internal turf war. It's been going on as long as those agencies have existed side by side.

In my earlier post I suggested that the Magical Mystery Tour of Edward Snowden was a gift both to the MSM and to the Obama administration that they love. What that might seem counter intuitive it can only be explained in context.

    hows this for fun?

The reality is of course the phrases “Edward Snowden is a felon & traitor to the US” and “The NSA PRISM program can’t be trusted to be kept separate from the political needs of any administration” are not mutually exclusive, but it’s hard to make that case in 140 characters when passions run deep when people want to keep you fighting.

Mick Jagger got the crowd started up Monday night at the Rolling Stones concert in DC with a little jab at President Obama.

“I don’t think President Obama is here tonight. But I’m sure he’s listening in,” Jagger said to the satisfaction of concertgoers critical of the NSA spying scandal.

Most fascinating is that the crowd reportedly booed as soon as Jagger mentioned Obama’s name

( The MSM and their bootlickers sound like they are reading from a “trash Snowden” script written by the NSA. Slimy sarcasm about unwarranted conclusions that they trumpet as fact. This was the ONLY article I ran across that noticed this.)

As I write this, a bunch of reporters are flying from Moscow to Havana on an Aeroflot Airbus 330, but Edward Snowden isn’t sitting among them. His whereabouts are unknown. He might still be in the V.I.P. lounge at Sheremetyevo International Airport. He could have left on another plane. There are even suggestions that he has taken shelter in the Ecuadorian Embassy in Moscow.

What we do know is that, on this side of the Atlantic, efforts are being stepped up to demonize Snowden, and to delegitimize his claim to be a conscientious objector to the huge electronic-spying apparatus operated by the United States and the United Kingdom. “This is an individual who is not acting, in my opinion, with noble intent,” General Keith Alexander, the head of the National Security Agency, told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. “What Snowden has revealed has caused irreversible and significant damage to our country and to our allies.” Over on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Senator Dianne Feinstein, head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said, “I don’t think this man is a whistle-blower… he could have stayed and faced the music. I don’t think running is a noble thought.”

An unnamed senior Administration official joined the Snowden-bashing chorus, telling reporters, “Mr. Snowden’s claim that he is focussed on supporting transparency, freedom of the press, and protection of individual rights and democracy is belied by the protectors he has potentially chosen: China, Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, and Ecuador. His failure to criticize these regimes suggests that his true motive throughout has been to injure the national security of the U.S., not to advance Internet freedom and free speech.”

It is easy to understand, though not to approve of, why Administration officials, who have been embarrassed by Snowden’s revelations, would seek to question his motives and exaggerate the damage he has done to national security. Feinstein, too, has been placed in a tricky spot. Tasked with overseeing the spooks and their spying operations, she appears to have done little more than nod.

More unnerving is the way in which various members of the media have failed to challenge the official line. Nobody should be surprised to see the New York Post running the headline: “ROGUES’ GALLERY: SNOWDEN JOINS LONG LIST OF NOTORIOUS, GUTLESS TRAITORS FLEEING TO RUSSIA.” But where are Snowden’s defenders? As of Monday, the editorial pages of the Times and the Washington Post, the two most influential papers in the country, hadn’t even addressed the Obama Administration’s decision to charge Snowden with two counts of violating the Espionage Act and one count of theft.

If convicted on all three counts, the former N.S.A. contract-systems administrator could face thirty years in jail. On the Sunday-morning talk shows I watched, there weren’t many voices saying that would be an excessive punishment for someone who has performed an invaluable public service. And the person who did aggressively defend Snowden’s actions, Glenn Greenwald, the Guardian blogger who was one of the reporters to break the story, found himself under attack. After suggesting that Greenwald had “aided and abetted” Snowden, David Gregory, the host of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” asked, “Why shouldn’t you, Mr. Greenwald, be charged with a crime?”

Amazing Photos of an Intense Firefight in Vietnam, 1970

Vietnam War veteran James Speed Hensinger has released incredible night-time photographs he took of American troops opening fire on a Viet Cong sniper who had been firing on a U.S. Army camp. Hensinger was just a 22-year-old paratrooper with the 173rd Airborne Brigade in April 1970 when a Viet Cong sniper began spraying automatic rifle fire on Hensinger's base in Phu Tai, near the coastal city of Da Nang.

Exclusive: Banned Cleric's Outspoken Deputy Visits White House

    http://www.investigativeproject.org/4055/exclusive-banned-cleric-outspoken-deputy-visits

Radical Egyptian cleric Yusuf Qaradawi is considered so radical that the United States bans him from entering the country.

Qaradawi, considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood movement, has called for the killing of Jews and Americans.

That history makes the June 13 White House meeting with Sheik Abdullah Bin Bayyah all the more inexplicable. Bin Bayyah is vice president of the International Union of Muslim Scholars (IUMS), a group founded by and headed by Qaradawi. The IUMS has a long history of supporting Hamas –a top Hamas leader is an IUMS member – and of calling for Israel's destruction.

Bin Bayyah's website claims that he met June 13 with senior Obama administration officials at the White House.

Obama...we must support Syria.....( and go to world war ).............

The U.S. Army is slashing the number of active duty combat brigades from 45 to 33, and shifting thousands of soldiers out of bases around the country as it moves forward with a longtime plan to cut the size of the service by 80,000.

Officials say the sweeping changes would eliminate brigades at 10 Army bases in the U.S. by 2017, including in Texas, Kentucky, Georgia, Colorado, North Carolina, New York, Kansas and Washington. The Army will also cut thousands of other jobs across the service, including soldiers in units that support the brigades, and two brigades in Germany have already been scheduled for elimination.

How America Became a Police State – From the Peacekeeping Night Watch, to Militarized Pursuit of Victimless Crime

How did the United States grow a militarized police force that pursues people who commit victimless crimes, with incredibly elaborate and sophisticated means? This article summarizes the US’s transformation from a country with ideals based on liberty and prosperity, and freedom from unwarranted tax, to a society where militarized police enforce every single law that the out of control government wishes.

In yet another remarkable display of Obama’s determination to secure the Middle East for Islamofascists, 400 U.S. troops will reportedly be deployed to Egypt to augment the police force of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi. They will be part of a 13-country force stationed in Egypt in anticipation of protests, scheduled for June 30th, calling for the removal of Morsi. Curiously, whereas Obama readily threw former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak under the bus in 2011, the White House is now eager to defend the regime of Morsi, who, like his Muslim Brotherhood sponsors, is well on his way to imposing the Saudi Arabian model of governance on Egypt.

June 24….( Reuters) Western and Arab countries opposed to President Bashar Assad agreed at talks in Qatar on Saturday to give urgent military support to Syrian rebels fighting for his overthrow, and to channel it through a Western-backed rebel military command. Ministers from the 11 main countries which form the Friends of Syria group including the United States, European and regional Sunni Muslim powers, agreed "to provide urgently all the necessary materiel and equipment to the opposition on the ground, each country in its own way in order to enable them to counter brutal attacks by the regime and its allies". They also condemned "the intervention of Hezbollah militias and fighters from Iran and Iraq", demanding that they withdraw immediately.

After a series of military offensives by Assad's troops, including the Hezbollah-backed recapture of a strategic border town two weeks ago, US President Barack Obama said the United States would increase military support for the rebels. Two Gulf sources said on Saturday that Saudi Arabia, which has taken a lead role among Arab opponents of Assad, had also accelerated delivery of advanced weapons to the rebels. "In the past week there have been more arrivals of these advanced weapons. They are getting them more frequently," one source said, without giving details. Another Gulf source described them as "potentially balance-tipping" supplies.

Rebel fighters say they need anti-aircraft and anti-tank weapons to stem the fightback by Assad's forces in a civil war that has already killed 93,000 people and driven 1.6 million refugees into neighboring countries.

The increasingly sectarian dynamic of the war pits mainly Sunni Muslims against forces loyal to Assad, from the Alawite minority which is an offshoot of Shi'ite Islam, and has split the Middle East along Sunni-Shi'ite lines.

Since King Abdulaziz Al-Saud unified most of the Arab Peninsula and established the modern Kingdom of Saudi in 1932, it has transformed into a major player on the international stage with a developed economy. It plays a leading role in OPEC. Riyadh is a modern city.

Saudi society remains ruled by Islamic tradition and tribal rule. Sexual segregation, keeps wives, sisters and daughters from contact with men. Social events maintain the separation. Most Saudi homes have one entrance for women, another for men.

girl born in Saudi Arabia is required to have a male guardian. Ownership of a female is passed from the father or the brother to another man, the husband, who becomes the new guardian.

Family honor requires the male guardian to protect females under his care. He controls her behavior, her modesty and her respectability. Females deemed to dishonor their guardian are subject to honor killing.

Al Arabiya television airs programs on the correct ways for a man to discipline and to beat his wife, complete with the size of sticks that should and should not be used, advice on the occasions of when it is appropriate or not appropriate to beat her; parts of the body that should not be struck, and more.

Proper dress, which means covering parts of the body not meant to be exposed, is part of family honor. In some Arab countries, a women's face may be exposed. However in much of Saudi Arabia only the hands and the eyes may be exposed. Women wear the hijab head covering and an abaya full cloak and a face veil.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents based in Michigan–and confirmed
from ICE agents around the country–that the Obama administration is spending
gazillions of your money to “reverse escort” illegal aliens caught at the border
into the interior of the United States to await amnesty, rather than deporting
them. ICE agents from northern border and interior states are being sent to
southern border states like Texas to pick up “juvenile” illegal aliens caught
sneaking into the border. Instead of deporting them, taxpayers are funding the escort of the illegal aliens
to interior and northern border states to seek sanctuary in churches and other
such locations while awaiting the passage of amnesty. Again, the practice is
    called, “reverse escorting.”

Outraged ICE agents in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for example, say that ICE’s
“Enforcement and Removal Operations” (ERO) is sending each of their immigration agents down to
Brownsville, Texas at least once or twice a week to pick up the illegal alien
juveniles that have been caught because–the excuse goes–”there is no place to
house them down there” (when they shouldn’t be “housed,” they should be
    DEPORTED)

Dubai: Lt General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police,
warned that the Muslim Brotherhood is posing a grave danger to political
stability in the Gulf as they tend to seize power and implement their ideology.
Their interference in internal affairs of Arab Gulf countries was quite obvious
in recent months, which is completely unacceptable for the states in the
    region.

Lt General Dahi said that he had warned in the media long before the
organisation came to power in one Arab country about the dangerous nature of the
    group.

    Evil interests

The police chief said he had alerted the governments in the region and
members of the public about the evil interests of the organisation and uncovered
the secret plots and the fact that they are trying to overthrow the regimes in
the region, but the reaction to the warning was light.

Beirut: At least 20 Syrians were injured in a stabbing attack on Wednesday
when their vehicle was targeted by a group of unknown attackers in eastern
Beirut, a police source told AFP.

“Three cars with tinted windows intercepted a minibus carrying 25 Syrians in
the Jisr Al Wati neighbourhood. Eight men attacked the passengers with knives,
injuring 20 of them,” the source said.

Police surrounded the site of the incident, and an AFP photographer at the
scene saw blood on the seats of the mini-bus and on discarded t-shirts inside
the vehicle and on the street.

The National News Agency said the group was headed to a studio to record
    Syrian folklore music

A Chinese woman's breast implant exploded after playing a game (Dragon Summon) on her iPhone while lying on her stomach for four hours.

According to reports, she was taken to the hospital after experiencing pain in her chest while playing the game in bed. Doctors say that the low quality implant combined with the pressure of laying face down for an extended period of time, caused the rupture.

No information has been provided as to whether her implant was replaced. She initially received the implants to raise her self esteem.

On the brighter side, the woman may have achieved a personal high score in Dragon Summon

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - An Alaska volcano spewing ash and lava for the past six weeks erupted with new intensity on Tuesday, belching a plume of cinders 5 miles into sky and onto a nearby town and disrupting local flights, officials said.

The eruptions from Pavlof Volcano, on the Alaska Peninsula 590 miles southwest of Anchorage, were its most powerful since its current eruptive phase began with low-level rumblings in mid-May, according to scientists at the federal-state Alaska Volcano Observatory.

The latest series of more powerful ash-producing blasts from the crater of the 8,261-foot volcano started late on Monday and continued overnight into Tuesday, scientists said.

"For some reason we can't explain, it picked up in intensity and vigor," said Tina Neal, an observatory geologist.

A "family insider" says that the former secretary of State will "admit that she’s bisexual and has had lesbian relationships" and reveal that "a veterinarian who treated the family cat Socks at the White House stumbled upon her locked in a steamy embrace with a woman."
