It Takes A Worried Man

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow,
for tomorrow will worry about itself.
Each day has enough trouble of its own.

You have to get the right honey, Manuka from New Zealand with a high enough rating. I have some coming tomorrow.
The tea tree and oregano oil knock it down as does the coconut oil but I think you have to treat several times a day to get ahead of the growth. I am just greatful to have the pain gone.

The MRSA super-bug could be wiped out using natural oil from oregano, scientists revealed today.

Researchers have discovered that the herb, commonly used in cooking, could eradicate the deadly infection from hospital wards.

Tiny quantities of carvacrol, a naturally occurring compound in oregano, were found to be a more effective antimicrobial agent than 18 pharmaceutical drugs, investigators found.

Pascalite is a type of bentonite clay found only in the mountains of Wyoming. It possesses remarkable healing powers. When used topically, it's known for its ability to draw infections from wounds in a matter of hours or days, bringing about total recovery.

Turmeric has been used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for thousands of years to treat a wide range of infections. It's antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties have been found to be highly effective in the treatment of bacterial infections and can be used internally and topically for MRSA and other skin lesions.

Both turmeric and Pascalite should be made into a paste or combined with each other by mixing them with water and applying directly to the skin lesion. Keep moist by covering with plastic wrap or warm compresses. Reapply as needed. Additionally, you can mix either or both powders with Manuka honey for a potent remedy to treat MRSA and flesh-eating bacteria.

Oil of Oregano is an essential oil and best known for its ability to kill bacteria, controlling staph infections like MRSA. It has antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-parasitic, anti-inflammatory, and pain relieving properties. Science Daily reported in 2001 on the results of a Georgetown University research study stating that the germ-killing properties of oregano oil were found as effective as most antibiotics -- including vancomycin -- for treatment of antibiotic-resistant superbugs such as E. coli, Salmonella, MRSA and flesh-eating bacteria.

Tea tree oil is a potent antibacterial, essential oil that has been shown effective in killing antibiotic-resistant MRSA on the skin. Therapeutic-grade tea tree oil must be used undiluted for this purpose. The highest quality oils are very mild, making it an excellent treatment even on open wounds.

Olive leaf extract has been used for centuries to fight bacterial infections and is currently being used to treat MRSA infections in some European hospitals. It contains an active compound that provides immune system support at the same time as it fights antibiotic-resistant infections.

    oh no! so wrong

  28. BabbaZee2:22 PM

    two more items suggested

    Vitamin B3

Nicotineamide, or vitamin B3 may have the ability to help the immune system to kill antibiotic-resistant staph bacteria like MRSA. In laboratory experiments conducted with animal subjects and human blood, high doses of the vitamin B3 increased the ability of immune cells to kill the super bug by 1,000 times. In fact, in human blood, nicotineamide was able to eliminate the staph infection in a couple of hours, indicates a team of scientists in a report featured in August 2012 in “Medical News Today”. There is potential to use this vitamin along with antibiotics to increase the efficacy of the treatment and possibly decreasing the dependence on antibiotics. While mega doses of vitamin B3 are required to be used for MRSA infections, these high doses have been previously found to be safe in humans, according to researchers of this study.

    Valencia orange oil

Valencia orange oil is a natural essential oil derived from the cells inside the rind of Valencia oranges. It’s key ingredient, limonene, actually gives the aroma of these citrics. Valencia orange oil has been recently found to also be effective against MRSA infections in test tubes, killing the bacterial cells without showing any toxicity to the healthy skin cells, according to a study published in August 2012 in “BMC Complimentary and Alternative Medicine”. These findings may lead in the future to the development of topical antistaphylococcal agents.

    Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan
has declared a state of emergency in three states after a spate of deadly
    attacks by Islamist militant groups.

In a televised address, he said he had given the military powers to take over
security in the states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe.

He also ordered more troops to be sent to the north-eastern states.

Islamist group Boko Haram has been blamed for most of the violence, killing

Referring to recent attacks by "insurgents and terrorists" on government

The Obama administration’s atrocious violation against the nation’s free press is the sort of thing you see in communist regimes or dictatorships (like China and Cuba), a deplorable act few imagined would ever take place in the United States.

For a period of two months, the Obama Department of Justice (DOJ) secretly obtained the phone records of reporters and editors at one of the nation’s largest news organizations, the Associated Press (AP), in an apparent effort to pin down the source of a leak. This includes records for the work and personal phone numbers of individual reporters and editors as well as general office numbers for the news organization in several states. [...]

No one ever imagined that Big Brother would watch this closely. Even the president’s staunchest supporters, like the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), which has colluded with the DOJ on a variety of matters, chastised the administration. In a statement posted on its website the famously liberal civil rights group reminds that the media’s purpose is to keep the public informed and it should be free to do so without the threat of unwarranted surveillance.

....each day has enough trouble of its own...ain't that the truth.

I used my afternoon to just drive down to Ft. Bragg and check old haunts up and down Bragg Avenue. Picked up a pair of Bates Desert Boots, light weight, desert color, vibram soles. $50, I see them for $139 online. They'd never been worn before. Goretex Lined so they pretty much wick out moisture and keep out water externally. Nice boots. I offered him to the lad but he wasn't interested. Fine by me. I collect boots the way Babba collects hats.

It's been since Tater was a Tot (slipped that in accidently). Things looked a little beat up and long in the tooth. I scouted the sky and it didn't look like any jumps were happening today. Pity. I love watching mass jumps. My favorite jump zone @ Bragg is Anzio. They used to take C-130's and attach a chute to the back of a Sheridan tank (pretty small tank on a pallet). They'd come in at about 10 feet or less and release the chute attached to the sheridan and out she'd come. Always a fascinating demo to watch. I never got tired of that.

I saw a lot of troops berets with their unit flash attached in the pawn shops and surplus stores. made me sad as hell. No way I'd ever pawn my beret. I've lost them all over the years, but I've also moved about 8 times or so in the last 27 plus years. I'd rather lose them than sell them.

Because I'm taking lipitor and plavix, I can't get any tattoos. I'd bleed out like a stuck pig. If I stop taking the meds, my stent will fill up in no time flat and I will have wasted the doctors and my time last week. THUNK!!!! End of story. Maybe just GOD's way of letting me know that NO, YOU'RE NOT GETTING A TATTOO, BULGAR! HE's very persuasive ya know. So since I couldn't get my TAT's, I just went back to Bragg to sort of soak in a little bit of my youth. I was going to go to the special forces museum, but wanted to get home in time for when Tater got home. Hardly recognize the place any more. It has changed a lot over the years. Then again, so have I. It's always a little upsetting when you notice how much a place changes over time, but maybe that's only because it reminds us of how much we have also changed over the years. That just might be it, who knows?

Maybe the lad and I can take a drive down to visit the SOF Museum this weekend. It might be something we could do. I'd like for him to see a little bit of what I used to do. He might learn something. Then again, he's almost 14 so maybe he'd just be bored shitless.

  119. IRS official Lerner speedily approved exemption for Obama brother’s ‘charity’

The ostensibly Arlington, Va.-based charity was not even registered in Virginia despite the foundation’s website including a donation button that claimed tax-exempt status.

Its president and founder, Abon’go “Roy’ Malik Obama, is Barack Obama’s half-brother and was the best man at his wedding, but he has a checkered past. In addition to running his charity, Malik Obama ran unsuccessfully to be the governor of Siaya County in Kenya. He was accused of being a wife beater and seducing the newest of his twelve wives while she was a 17-year-old school girl.

Square, a mobile payment startup, last week tweaked its terms of use to prevent gun retailers from using its technology.

The startup changed the agreement signed by retailers, which includes a ban on sales from some business activities, like drug paraphernalia and escort services. (Shady, if not downright illegal, yes, but also two business models that could especially benefit from the customer-service revolution possible from better mobile payment options.) The relevant section was since amended to forbid sales from ”firearms, firearm parts or hardware, and ammunition; or… weapons and other devices designed to cause physical injury.”

  132. BELCHERTOWN (CBS) – Shortly after midnight Tuesday, seven people were caught trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir.

State Police say the five men and two women are from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, and “cited their education and career interests” for being in the area. The men told police they were chemical engineers and recent college graduates.

The Quabbin, in Belchertown, is one of the country’s largest man-made public water supplies. Boston’s drinking water comes from the Quabbin and the Wachusett Reservoirs.

Nawaz Sharif has held the job twice before, but the last time didn't end so well. The 63-year-old was toppled in a coup by the country's army chief in 1999 and sent into exile in Saudi Arabia. He spent years in the steamy Gulf before brokering his return in 2007.

The Vatican says the Scottish cardinal who resigned as archbishop after admitting to sexual misconduct will leave Scotland for several months of prayer and atonement.

Cardinal Keith O'Brien recused himself from the March conclave that elected Pope Francis pontiff after a newspaper reported unnamed priests' allegations that he acted inappropriately toward them.

O'Brien subsequently acknowledged he had engaged in unspecified sexual misbehavior. He resigned as archbishop of St. Andrews and Edinburgh, apologized and promised to stay out of the church's public life.

On Wednesday, the Vatican said O'Brien, once Britain's highest-ranking Catholic leader, had decided in agreement with Francis to leave Scotland for several months of "prayer, penance and spiritual renewal." A statement says his future arrangements would be decided on in agreement with the Holy See.

California dad 'begged for his life' as police beat him to death - witnesses

    http://rt.com/usa/begged-for-life-cops-beat-126/

A California father of four died Wednesday shortly after a group of police allegedly beat him with batons as he lay defenseless on the sidewalk. Cops, before confiscating witness' cameras, also reportedly unleashed a canine unit on him.

David Sal Silva, 33, allegedly resisted when police approached him to ask if he was who neighbors called about to complain of an intoxicated man in the area. The officers called for backup and, witnesses told the Bakersfield Californian, Silva was soon being beaten in the face and upper body by as many as nine policemen and their batons. At least one of the cops reportedly held a German Shepherd on a leash nearby.

A couple filed a lawsuit Tuesday against the state of South Carolina for what they say was an unnecessary sexual assignment surgery performed on a toddler they later adopted.

Lawyers for Pam and Mark Crawford said Tuesday they were suing the Department of Social Services for having irreversible surgery performed on a 16-month-old child they eventually adopted and raised as a girl.

The child was born in 2004 with both male and female genitalia and placed in state custody after the termination of parental rights, according court papers. At the age of 16 months, doctors removed the child's male genitalia, leaving the toddler with female parts, according to court papers.
