Evidence Mounts Boston Bombers Were FBI Assets

Why would the FBI first fail to disclose they were tipped off about Tamerlan? Then lie about their knowledge of Tamerlan’s activities claiming they had no knowledge of terrorist activities or ties to foreign terrorist groups? Why are they still lying about it and why the media is continuing to echo their lies at the same time reporting contradictory information in the same exact reports revealing the feds were in fact notified, several times, and continue to allow this plot to happen?

More than likely it will soon be revealed, that like so many previous terror plots the FBI was in fact handling the Boston Bombers.

A US panel criticized Western European countries Tuesday for “aggressive secularism” as it released a report on religious freedom that took aim at laws banning full-face veils in public.

For the first time, the US Commission on International Religious Freedom — whose members are appointed by the government — included a chapter on the region in its annual review of tolerance of other faiths around the world.

Because Western Europe generally has a very good record, “it’s easy to overlook the fact that there are some questions and problematic issues emerging there” related to religious dress and customs, commission chair Katrina Lantos Swett told reporters. [...]

The report addressed laws in France and Belgium that ban the wearing of full-face veils in public, noting that Muslim women who do so can now be stopped, questioned and fined by authorities.

“This raises discrimination concerns,” the report said

In order to keep the country’s national parks open as the federal departments grapple with so-called sequestration, Oklahoma Sen. Tom Coburn is suggesting the department do away with things like a planned program to count sheep with unmanned aerial drones.

Coburn wrote that the agency plans to use “unmanned aerial drones, obtained from the military, to survey the habitat of pygmy rabbits in Idaho in August, observe Elk in Washington in July, and count sheep in Nevada in October.”

“While these studies may provide some interesting information about rabbits, sheep and other animals, canceling or delaying them is not life threatening,” he wrote. “Yet shutting down vital flood gauges, by the agency’s own admission, could be.”

After a few sniffs of hormone, university study shows men are more positive and sensitive about a disagreement and women are more friendly

Scientists might be a bit sniffy about this latest research, but a nasal spray containing a hormone can help bring happiness to warring couples living together.

A study has shown that breathing in a compound containing oxytocin makes women calmer and friendlier and men more sensitive and positive during arguments.

Dubbed the 'cuddle drug', oxytocin is naturally made in the body and is involved in sex, sexual attraction, trust and confidence.

    one of those stories....
*****************************************************These are my mom’s parents, Laszlo and Anna Maria.

Laszlo was born in Hungary. When it became communist briefly in 1919, all his family’s land was confiscated by the government, and they were reduced to poverty. Just after his birth in 1925, his father bled to death from extremely poor hospital conditions in what should have been a simple operation. He grew up with only one toy, and lost a kidney to malnutrition early on. However, he was extremely bright and athletic. He was an alternate for the Hungarian olympic swim team. Despite his poverty, he took exams to gain entrance to medical school, and was one of only 300 in the country to be allowed to attend. He was a revolutionary, and fought forces—both Nazi and Communist—that tried to take Hungary. He was the only survivor of a van that was rigged with bombs. During WWII he fled Hungary, and was captured in Bosnia, then was sent to a concentration camp. Hours before he was set to be executed, he escaped, swimming for his life as guards shot at him. He made it to Italy, and a refugee organization helped send him to safety in Switzerland. He remained there till the war ended, and then returned to Northern Italy as a refugee, also offering his clinical skills to refugees at a Catholic Charities camp. There, he met my grandmother. After having three children, they emigrated to the US—despite being offered a job as head coach of Sweden’s national football team. In the US he became head of all Mental Health State Hospitals in WV. He was my hero, and still is.

My grandmother, Anna Maria, was born in Trieste, in Northern Italy. She is descended from Habsburgs and Italian nobility dating all the way back to 15th century Florence. Her beloved father passed when she was very young. Not long after, her mother became ill. With two sisters and her mom to support, at 14 she began working as well as going to school. When the Nazis occupied Italy, she was walking home from a violin lesson, and an SS Officer stopped her and held her for interrogation. My then teenage grandmother was exhausted and, after hours of meaningless questioning, said to the SS Officer, “I’m exhausted. If you’re going to shoot me then shoot me—if not, let me go already!” The Officer let her go. She was a talented linguist, violinist, and painter. She spoke 7 languages and, in America, worked translating literature. She then went back to school and got her Masters in Child Psychology—all while raising 5 kids.

    My grandparents were amazing. :)

Next Thursday is going to be surgery day. Roto-Rooter for carodit arteries (both), then we move along to the coronary catheratization (SP?) to look for other arterial blockages in and around the heart. Once those have been found and cataloged, they need to decide whether or not to use angioplasty or stents. If the number is too many, then we'll need to have open heart surgery (my least favorite option).

Either way, I'll probably sleep most of the day under sedation.

Pope Francis is preparing to canonise an estimated 800 Italian laymen killed by Ottoman soldiers in the 15th century. The canonisation service will be on May 12 in St Peter’s Square and it will be the first carried out by the Pontiff since he was elected in early March.

The killing of the martyrs by Ottoman troops, who launched a weeks-long siege of Otranto, a small port town at the most eastern tip of southern Italy, took place in 1480.

When Otranto residents refused to surrender to the Ottoman army, the soldiers were ordered to massacre all males over the age of 15. Many were ordered to convert to Islam or die, but Blessed Antonio Primaldo, a tailor, spoke on the prisoners’ behalf. “We believe in Jesus Christ, Son of God, and for Jesus Christ we are ready to die,” he said, according to Blessed John Paul II, who visited Otranto in 1980 for the 500th anniversary of the martyrs’ deaths.

The Pentagon remains “fully cognizant” of the threat posed by Islamic extremist groups inside Syria, despite recent overtures by the White House to arm the country’s rebel forces.

“We understand the dynamics” within the rebel forces in Syria, including infiltration by militant groups like Jabhat al-Nusra (JAN) and al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) into the opposition, according to Pentagon Press Secretary George Little

Militant influence among the country’s rebels “is obviously a factor as we evaluate [military] options” in the country, he told reporters on Wednesday.
Concerns over that growing influence within Syria’s rebels over the two-year civil war to overthrow president Bashar Assad have been the major roadblock in possible U.S.-led efforts to provide small arms and heavy weaponry to anti-Assad forces.

Military and intelligence officials said those U.S. weapons, if provided, could end up in the hands of al Qaeda fighters.

A laptop, some empty fireworks and a jar of Vaseline landed three friends of Boston Marathon bomb suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in jail Wednesday, charged with trying to throw investigators off their buddy's trail.

Those are the items federal prosecutors say Azamat Tazhayakov, Dias Kadyrbayev and Robel Phillipos took from Tsarnaev's dorm room at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in the hours after the FBI released photos of Tsarnaev and his brother Tamerlan, the suspects in the marathon bombings. According to FBI affidavits, they quickly recognized their friend from the pictures.

When Kadyrbayev texted his friend to tell him "he looked like the suspect on television," Tsarnaev texted back "lol" and added, "come to my room and take whatever you want," the affidavit states. Phillipos, Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev went to the room, where Kadyrbayev noticed a backpack containing fireworks that had been "opened and emptied of powder," according to the affidavit.

"Kadyrbayev knew when he saw the empty fireworks that Tsarnaev was involved in the marathon bombing," the affidavit states.

All three are accused of removing items from Tsarnaev's dorm room after the April 15 bombings, which killed three people and wounded more than 260. According to the affidavit, they left with the backpack, the Vaseline -- which Tazhayakov believed could be used to make bombs -- and Tsarnaev's laptop.

By the time they got back to the apartment in New Bedford that Tazhayakov and Kadyrbayev shared, the Tsarnaev brothers had been named as bomb suspects, and the three friends "started to freak out," Phillipos recounted after what the affidavit stated had been four previous interviews.

"According to Kadyrbayev, they collectively decided to throw the backpack and fireworks into the trash because they did not want Tsarnaev to get into trouble," the affidavit states.

The Izvestia story, if corroborated, could give some credibility to the DEBKA file story alleging that the Tsarnaev brothers were double agents, hired by the US and Saudi intelligence -- thereby decoyed the US into a terrorist trap. The DEBKA file story, based on counterterrorism and intelligence sources, suggest that the objective was to penetrate the Wahhabi jihadist networks which, helped by Saudi financial institutions had spread into Russian Caucasia. Instead the two former Chechens betrayed their mission and went secretly over to radical Islamist networks. The Saudis feared that their involvement would come to light when their student was questioned about their involvement in the bombings while in a Boston hospital. The Saudi foreign minister flew to Washington, in the middle of the Boston Marathon crisis, to meet with president Obama and his national security adviser.

Iraq was a secular Muslim authoritarian country as opposed to the Islamic Republic like Iran or the authoritarian Saudi Kingdom with its Wahhabism. The Christians were protected and even held high government positions, which is unthinkable in countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, etc. Hence, it could be argued that Bush invaded the wrong country.

BUDAPEST (EJP)---The World Jewish Congress (WJC) will hold its 3-day plenary assembly in Budapest on Sunday to discuss the alarming rise of neo-Nazi political parties in several European countries as well as the situation in the Middle East.

500 delegates and observers from the WJC’s affiliated Jewish communities and organizations in 100 countries are expected to convene in the Hungarian capital.

It is the first time in many years that the WJC assembly is being held outside of Jerusalem.

“The fact that the WJC is holding its Plenary Assembly in Budapest is a symbol of solidarity with our Jewish community, which has been faced with growing anti-Semitism in recent years,” said Peter Feldmajer, president of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Hungary (MAZSIHISZ), the representative body of Jews in Hungary.

The Hungarian Jewish community is the largest in Central Europe.

The best part of it (at least when I was in) is that postage is free to our troops. Gotta send him some topline boots. The infantry (particularly SpecOps) live on their feet.

I hope I hear back from him today. Who knows though. The schedule he's keeping doesn't leave a lot of time to goof off on in the rear with the gear. Always out as the sharp end of the spear. Boredom and abject Fear. Very little in between. I sent some pics of the tattoos I'm going to be getting. He'll get a kick out of that. I've been there since the moment that young man came into this world and think of him as a nephew. He's family to me. I'm also proud as hell of him.

  170. Sympathy for the Devil: From Boston to Beslan

    http://sofrep.com/20082/sympathy-for-the-devil-from-boston-to-beslan/

A narrative has emerged from the media’s account of the two Tsarnaev brothers and it goes something like this: Tamerlan Tsarnaev was vain, aggressive, sinister and recently radicalized. His younger brother Dzhokhar, on the other hand, is a friendly, likeable and good-natured kid who must have been brainwashed by his evil brother. The evidence of Dzhokhar’s sweet and harmless nature is provided by friends, family and fan-girls smitten by some of his more flattering photographs (Tiger Beat alert here!)

This is the fodder for defense attorneys. It has no place in neutral journalism, but frankly, there isn’t much of that going around anyways.

The fact that older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev had a YouTube account peppered with jihadi videos has already been disclosed and is being dissected by law enforcement and the public. On his Youtube account, he even has a category named “Terrorists.” Among the videos loved by Tamerlan, you will find Gadzhimurad Dolgatov, aka Abu Dujana, a youngish hipster-type Chechen terrorist who was a big ‘fan-boy’ of the Kavkaz Center

Administrators say they will cover the cost of the reassignment surgery up to $50,000 that will be covered with a cause a 0.3 percent increase to overall student fees.LGBT advocates on campus immediately celebrated the university’s decision.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Imagine if your parent received an over-payment from the government but decades later, the government took the money out of your tax return.

Gilbert Stokes, 60, of Jacksonville, said it happened to him.

"I'm angry," Stokes said Wednesday morning.

Stokes felt the same way when he received a letter from the Social Security Administration in January.

"[The letter] said [SSA] was going to withhold my taxes unless I contacted about this social security over-payment," Stokes explained.

Forty-two years ago in 1971, Stokes' mother Ruby Lee received an over-payment of $895 while he was in the Navy.

"My first impression was someone was trying to punk me," he said.

Stokes' mother died five years ago.

"They only show this one letter being sent. And it's an over-payment that they can go out and get their money," Stokes said. "That's the office response to my question about the delay."

Stokes said the government took matters into its own hands and deducted the money from his recent tax refund.

"I just couldn't believe it," he said.

It turns out, the Social Security number attached to it all, according to Stokes, belonged to his father.
