This is what Cyrus king of Persia says:
The LORD, the God of heaven,
has given me all the kingdoms of the earth
and he has appointed me
to build a temple for him
at Jerusalem in Judah.
Ezra 1

    Mitt Romney claims that his
essential qualification to be president is grounded in his 15 years as
head of Bain Capital, from 1984 through early 1999. According to the
campaign’s narrative, it was then that he became immersed in the toils
of business enterprise, learning along the way the true secrets of how
to grow the economy and create jobs. The fact that Bain’s returns
reputedly averaged more than 50 percent annually during this period is
purportedly proof of the case—real-world validation that Romney not only
was a striking business success but also has been uniquely trained and
seasoned for the task of restarting the nation’s sputtering engines of
    capitalism.

    Except
Mitt Romney was not a businessman; he was a master financial speculator
who bought, sold, flipped, and stripped businesses. He did not build
enterprises the old-fashioned way—out of inspiration, perspiration, and a
long slog in the free market fostering a new product, service, or
process of production. Instead, he spent his 15 years raising debt in
prodigious amounts on Wall Street so that Bain could purchase the pots
and pans and castoffs of corporate America, leverage them to the hilt,
gussy them up as reborn “roll-ups,” and then deliver them back to Wall
Street for resale—the faster the better.
Is Romney really a job creator? Ronald Reagan’s budget director, David Stockman, takes a scalpel to the claims.

Force yourself to use your brain,
    The only way to gain,
A lot of things are just a lie.
This world we love comes down in pain
    With hate and bloody games
A question-mark up in the sky.

    Look, you can't keep away
    And you can't hide
    Tomorrow, yesterday, today ...

Some people say, we'll do it better
    Some people say, everything's good
Some people sing, let's come together
But nobody has ever brought it through
    Maybe you and me ...

  47. A little more than a week ago, I ascended the Temple Mount together with a group of more than 50 Jews from Ra’anana’s Ohel Ari synagogue. All of us immersed in a mikva (ritual bath) prior to the trip, refrained from wearing leather shoes, and walked only in areas that are permitted by halacha. Guided by the indefatigable Rabbi Chaim Richman of the Temple Institute, and led by our congregation’s Rabbi Ronen Neuwirth, we got a firsthand look at the situation that prevails at Judaism’s holiest site.

Put simply, it is absolutely infuriating. Brazen discrimination is practiced against religious Jews, who are singled out for special treatment by Israel’s police that is not accorded anyone professing a different faith. After going through a security checkpoint, a gruff policeman told our group, “you must stay together at all times, you must move quickly through the site and do not pray. You are not allowed to pray.”

    Like a stone

And I fell heavy into your arms

    And I'll kneel down

    So break my step

    And relent

You forgave and I won't forget

    And him with less

    Now in some way

    Shake the excess

    And I'll kneel down

    Wait for now

    And I'll kneel down

    Know my ground

    Now I'll be bold

    As well as strong

Use my head alongside my heart

    So take my flesh

    And fix my eyes

That tethered mind free from the lies

    And I'll kneel down

    Wait for now

    And I'll kneel down

    Know my ground

    And I'll kneel down

    Wait for now

    Raise my hands

    Paint my spirit gold

    And bow my head

    Keep my heart slow

    And raise my hands

    Paint my spirit gold

    And bow my head

    Keep my heart slow

The class had been playing with a school iPad during a lesson when the topless pictures popped up on the screen.

The teacher's iPhone is believed to have accidentally synched with the tablet device — and transferred all her naughty private snaps.

Four pupils playing a game on the iPad clicked on the folder and got a surprise peek.

Now THEY have been suspended and threatened with expulsion from Highland Middle School in Anderson, Indiana, US.

resigned Thursday as head of an evangelical college following a report
about his engagement to a woman while still legally married to his wife.
The board of The King's College announced school president Dinesh D'Souza was stepping down immediately after their discussion with him during a marathon meeting to decide his future.

done with the last call of the day. the meat baals are in the marinara, the water is on for the pasta.

the boy has a horrible cough and sore throat. I'm keeping him home from practice.

Maybe it would be wise to brew him up some green tea with a dash of honey for his throat with supper. Good for the throat and the tummy.

the dishwasher is loaded. the boy is coughing his ass off and has a sore throat, I unloaded the dishwasher and reloaded it. Everyone is fed and the food is put up. I've made a nice visit to the garage, and the girl is getting her little brother some fruit pops for his sore throat.

Why GOD is so good to me is a mystery, wrapped in an enigma. I'll never understand it in this lifetime. I understand and accept that.

I sure am going to miss that girl when she leaves for school. I'll simply lose my mind when the boy leaves. There are burdens that come with blessings I suppose.

    Selah!

  161. RABAT (AFP) — Stone carvings in Morocco’s High Atlas mountains dating back more than 8,000 years and depicting the sun as a pagan divinity have been destroyed by Salafists, a local rights group said on Wednesday.

“These stone carvings of the sun are more than 8,000 years old. They were destroyed several days ago,” Aboubakr Anghir, a member of the Amazigh (Berber) League for Human Rights, told AFP.

“One of the carvings, called ‘the plaque of the sun,’ predates the arrival of the Phoenicians in Morocco,” Anghir said.

“It lies in a well-known archaeological site in the Yakour plain south of Marrakesh, 20 kilometres (12 miles) from Mount Toubkal.”

“There are several Salafist groups active in the region and it’s not the first time these pre-Islamic sites have been attacked. We have sent a message to the ministry of culture, but have not yet received a reply,” he added.RABAT (AFP) — Stone carvings in Morocco’s High Atlas mountains dating back more than 8,000 years and depicting the sun as a pagan divinity have been destroyed by Salafists, a local rights group said on Wednesday.
