Obama team is full of 'exceptions' (among other things)

First it was Timothy Geithner for secretary of the Treasury, a man slightly behind in his tax payments. Now we find that former Senator Tom Daschle, his designee for secretary of Health and Human Services, was also delinquent in his payment of taxes.

After the president's pronouncements about the prohibition of lobbyists in his administration, we now know that he would like to have William Lynn, a former lobbyist with Raytheon, for a key role in the Department of Defense. Raytheon is a major contractor with the Pentagon.

Add to this the selection of Mark Patterson to be the chief of staff for Tim Geithner. Patterson was a lobbyist for Goldman Sachs, the major investment firm.
